i stopped my depo shot and while with depo i've had no period and without the shot i still don't have a period, can i get pregnant without a period?

It's not your period that makes you able to conceive. You need to find out if you are still ovulating. If not, then no you cannot get pregnant. You need to talk to your doctor about the effects of the shot and your cycles.

I have had many friends that have been in the same situation..unfortunately its almost impossible to get pregnant without having a period first..
Think of it this way..you had to have a period at the start of puberty,in which you became a woman and this was the body's way of saying that you're ready for conception..
You may go a year without a period, it really depends on your body...but you will have to wait until you have a period before you can conceive.

Yes, ovulation happens 2 weeks before your period starts so it is possible to ovulate at any time. However, it is very unlikely that you would have any idea when ovulation was happening and so your chances are very very low. It would be much better to see your dr to have a cycle induced with medication and see if your cycles become regular on their own after that.

yes you can but it depends on how long you were on it. i was on it 2 yrs and it took me almost that long to get pregnant. i now am 11 wks pregnant.
