What are the best ways you can think of to help the families in my area who where effected by the explosion at the Little General. There are many short term ideas, but do you have any long term humanitarian ideas to assist these families? Those yet surviving are going to have a long term recovery, and have families at home.
Serious answers only as this is a very serious issue.
Little General exploded due to believed propane tank leak, confirmed dead 4, others critically injured. (Last report)Ghent Fire Chief was among those confirmed dead and funeral was Sunday. Little General is completely gone. Explosion felt over 1 mile away, heard over 2 miles away. Looking for long term help ideas for the families of those affected. This has devestated our community and we are looking for as many ways to help as possible.

I have a small script that reads all of the image files from a directory, and the directory contains images and thumbnails, the images are named img.jpg and the thumbs img-tn.jpg I do not wish for the script to remove "-tn" for when I want to display or link to the larger images. Is there a function that can do this? (Note that not all of the filenames will be identical in size, but the thumbnails all end with -tn)

This is what happened.....
I was scheduled to work Saturday and overslept. I am a dental assistant and LOVED my job!!! I just starting taking this anxiety medication (SEROQUEL 600MG) for the 1st time Friday night and I think my doctor gave me too high of a dose, as I went to sleep at 11pm and didn't wake up until 3pm the next day. I don't even remember hearing my alarms go off and I ALWAYS set 2. I was scheduled to work from 10-2pm. As soon as I woke up I tried calling the dentist and there was no answer at the office. I was so scared beacause he is a very moody person and I never know what to expect from him. He has agreed to train me as a dental assistant and I have no formal eduacation and I have wanted to work in this field for a very long time. I have been working there for 3months and this is my 1st offense. I went in this morning and explained what happened and he fired me. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Hubby and I are both believe in physical dicipiline.. I mean we first talk and do all other dicipline but in the end if nothing else works we have what we call belt situation... either hubby took off his or I borrow his belt to make things clear... son has been bullying, breaking glass, hitting other children, ...and lots of bad thing... we talked to teacher, with talked with him, we talked to counseller... nothing work, right now hubby is on bussiness trip and mother of one of my son's friend called and said he again beat his son, and was a bully... last time hubby told him if he do that again he will dicipline him with his belt infront of everyone and he was dead serious,...so should I tell him whats had happen cause if I do he'll definatly do but if I don't ...

They had to be THE WORST commercials in years! I mean the Pizza Hut commercial with Jessica Simpson (damn she put on weight, I thought she was Anna Nichole Smith at first!!!). They flat at sucked! At least I got some entertainment by watching the Bears think they could beat the Colts!!!!!
