My 12 year old stepdaughter is turning our house upside down with her temper tantrums and hateful words. We ground her, take things away but nothing changes. She is in therapy already to help her learn to deal with her temper. Does anyone have any suggestions to help improve this situation?

I got two new baby bunnies. I'm going to go to Petsmart tommorow to have basic things asked.

Our bunnies absolutely LOVE food- they eat, poop, and repeat. And when I came downstairs today, they were standing on their hind legs (like I taught them the day before), asking for food.

See, my mom got these bunnies from this farm(?) and the person who sold them had given us a big cup of food. They finished this yesterday, so I opened the new bag we had bought from Petsmart. They look exactly the same and from a human's nose they smell the same, too. But the bunnies smelled it and wouldn't eat it! They are only biting my hand. I got one of them to eat one (and with much difficulty), but he wouldn't eat any more.

I think I should have mixed the two foods together, but that didn't really strike me that time.

When I offered one, one of them pushed away my hand with his head and the other keeps on biting me as to see if I'm edible.

Help! I don't know the brand of the old food.

i signed upp for wwe tryouts. and i videocameraed everything. i did everything that was on the fill out chart. and i have everything down on paper that i was. I work in a secondary school where the pupils' behaviour is extraordinary. They swear, throw things and generally act like a load of ignorant brats. Every class has at least one with a "Behaviour and Social Emotional Difficulty", which is used as an excuse to act like an animal. Very few pupils seem to be interested in their education. Reading, writing and general knowledge seem very poor to my understanding. Discipline is a joke, with even the smallest achievement praised to the skies but the most dreadful behaviour excused. There is no respect, no urge to improve themselves, apart from a lonely few. I don't remember it being like this when I was a kid!

I'd like to become a teacher but I'm wondering if its worth it. Have I just described typical behaviour for kids today or am I just unfortunate enough to work at a real hell hole? Why does education today want to pathologise bad behaviour? Are we raising a nation of ignorant thugs? Give me some hope, please!
