Be sure to study and do homework before you do anything else. It's especially hard for me. I'd rather be watching tv or playing video games, but if I do, then I don't have enough, or just barely enough, time to complete all of my homework.
If you have any trouble with anything, ask for help. A program like Sylvan would be great, but it's rather pricey. A teacher would be able to help, or even another classmate.
Take notes. If you forget something, all you have to do is go back to your notes. It's extremely useful.

DON'T WORRY
THIS IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO
First, get plenty of rest before major tests
Always study for atleast two hours
Once you go over something in class, read it over again at home
Don't spend to much time doing extra cirricular activities such as sports or instruments
Don't play too many video games or computer games. Try to stick to less than an hour
Always eat healthy snacks before big tests. Never bring fast food or unhealthy, fatty foods for lunch. This will make your system weaker
Always try new things and explore
Try to get on your teacher's good side.
I hope my tips helped you a lot
Good luck in school
