I am doing work for a client, though I have done logos, cards, and something from the heart. I Need ideas on how much I should charge for doing art for an educational game.
Its pretty detailed and and I will be scanning through photoshop etc. And with such things would it be wiser to charge by time or over all work.

I have travelled extensively around both countries and can honestly say I enjoy both countries especially the lake districts in England and the music scene in Glasgow.
In conversation though, the English (generally speaking of course) enjoy a good jab at the Scots, while the Scots (again generally speaking) seem to be just happy doing what they are doing - being Scottish.
Also why do most English places refuse to accept the Scottish pounds in their establishments. It is after all the same currency?!
I never had a problem paying with British pounds in Scotland!

I am South African, and neutral in this issue.

I have a rear wheel drive '88 astro van. It's stuck in the snow. The question is only one tire is spinning, the other is stuck.
I have not had any trouble driving the vehicle in the snow, so I know that both rear tires were spinning before.

It was only parked for a few hours.

Whats the matter?

Any ideas at this point are good ideas, I have NONE.

I recently took my tax documents in because i wanted to see how much i'd get back if i filed. I was told that i wouldn't be getting anything back because i had lottery winnings which contributed to that. OK, i called the Michigan Lottery Main Branch in Lansing to ask about that and they told me that if i had winnings that were $5,000 and less, it wouldn't be taxed. They said that if it's $5,001 and up, then taxes are taken out right then and there. But when i told a tax advisor this, i was told that i should've asked them to take out taxes then. Who do i listen to regarding this? If i ask to get taxes taken out then so it never affects me later and i get told no because that is their "policy", then what am i to do? Should i go ahead and file my lottery winnings with everything else and take it or hold them back, file everything else, and just take the $? I'm kinda caught in a bind because i really need this $! What should I really do? Need an EXPERIENCED tax advisor! HELP! HELP! HELP!

my son is 21 mths and loves to look at pictures of the family. He'll sit there for a long time looking at them. What mother loves when their child is entertain by something, but my question is he tears the books and pictures is their any idea i can keep him from tearing the book like make one that you cant tear or take out the pictures? help
