Get duplicate pictures and make him his own book to look at.

Make duplicates of the pictures he likes most and put them in a book that you laminate. He can't tear out anything and he'll be still enjoying them. You also could take some time to sit down with him to have a look together and have him name the persons in the pictures. He is going to like the time spent with you.

You can upload your photos to www.shutterfly.com and make a real book out of them. You'll still have the images uploaded on their site but he can also look at them. Go look at their site and take a look at the books.

My son did the tearing thing, too. I bought good tape and taped up his books. We also started time outs at that age too and that has helped in every way imaginable~!

Yes my 9 1/2 month old daughter does that same thing. Like today we were sitting together playing with her toys when a commercial came on with a toddler sitting in a highchair laughing his little butt off. She immediately started watching and instantly smile then she started laughing so hard. It was the cutest thing.

Maybe you could make him his own special photo book, you could laminate the pics and let him go to town, i know it could be a little time consuming on your part but I bet hed be delighted to have one to call his own!
