All my friends say " that's not your baby" but i know she wouldn't lie to me and her parents. I don't want to ask her for a dna test because it will be like i don't trust her. Any opinions out there??

A mixed baby can look many different ways. Some babies are dark, some are light, and there are many in between.

My friend is white and her boyfriend is very very dark...their son has blond hair, blue eyes and is as white as white can be. They had a DNA test because he didn't trust her...it's his baby.

If you are questioning being the father JUST because of the baby's coloring then I wouldn't worry so much.

If you are questioning being the father for more reasons and in your heart you really don't think your the father then I would talk to her and let her know exactly how you feel and what your reasons are.

Well does the baby look white in color or black? I have 2 mixed children whom both are a caramel complexion (some people say they look spanish and others say they look mixed,my husband is not light but is not dark either, more like dark brown...Sometimes the babys can inherit genes from grandparents and ancestors from a while back that could have been whiter in color or darker in color,it depends...there is never a for sure just because the color of the baby..there has been cases where babies in mixed relationships have been white with blonde hair but there daddies were black,it happens..my friend had a mixed baby with a black man and her baby came out looking black...Trust your girlfriend for now...ignore your friends, because they will just cause u and her emotional distress...if it really bothers u get a dna test, otherwise enjoy your new baby and the mother of your child....

It depends on how old the baby is because it takes time for the baby color to come in. If the baby is 3 months or more the color should show. If you still have doubts, there is nothing wrong with asking for DNA test. You would not feel comfortable until you do. If your gf gets mad, and scream at you, it might not be yours, she hiding something. But if she gets mad, but understand because she cares about you and want to settle now this and take the test, its a chance its your baby. Good Luck. I hope its yours.

A friend, Irish, is married to an Indian woman. Their baby after he was born looked 100% Indian. Now, 3 years later he is a little Irish man nobody would be able to guess that mom is not white. So relax, and only accuse her if you have some reason to do so other than the baby's skin color.

We have millions of genes inside of our bodies. That allows for a variety of different combinations for each child. If you completely trust your gf, then why worry what other people say? Unless they're genetic scientists, of course. My cousin a very dark SE Asian with a white wife. One child appeared to be mixed, with the slanted eyes and light tan skin, while his other son looks completely Caucasian. However, as he grew up we saw that he had his Daddy's nose. I, on the other hand, look EXACTLY like my dad, but that doesn't mean my mother isn't my mom! Don't worry about what people say because sometimes people are just mean. If you and your parents have no reason to suspect her cheating, then ignore these nosy people!

Well is the baby white or black? If it doesn't have any of your characteristics, then you should ask for a test. If you put your name on the birth certificate then you are obligated to pay child support. You have 10 months before you can't have your name removed without a DNA test, which would be court ordered. I went through the same thing and it wasn't my kid. Never trust any girl, they are all liars. My girl was white so it was harder to tell. But, if you had a baby with her it should at least be lighter or show some kind of trace of you. If you think it looks nothing like you then have it checked out. Don't go on not knowing, it will eat you up. You can have it checked on the down low if you have to. All you need is a swab test kit. I think that their are websites that provide this service.

If you trust her let it go. If you don't meaning you have doubts talk to her about your concerns. I have a fairly light skinned girlfriend and her baby came out dark. As time went on the baby got lighter. All "mixed" babies are not light skinned.
What really is the underlining issue here? I question why your friends and family cannot accept a darker skinned baby? Go with your heart.

hey Jared you can't think like that because of the color of the baby. Have you ever seen Stacey Dash, I was told her father is white and her mother is black, and she's really dark to say she's mixed. Halle Berry has a white mother, black father, and she looks like she's all black. Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys has white mothers and black fathers and look at their skin tone compared to Halle's. So...but if you are suspicious, with all do respect get the baby checked.

In response to your question, I have a friend whom I went to high school with who has 3 children from a from a white guy she is very dark herself but when here children were born they all looked white and now have taken on a nice tanned look.... I'd be finding out if she cheated on you because there are color differences in mixed kids taking on light complexions not being of a dominant color because of the mother it has both parents genes.... It should look mixed....... Yeah I know alot of you dont think so but I speak from experience of having a friend with half black half white babies whom are tan..... GET A DNA TEST!!!! Don't support a child out of guilt and it may not be yours t begin with.... FYI if need be I can forward pictures of my firends family to show there color..

The baby doesn't need to look "mixed" to be yours. Most of the time, black is the dominant characteristic that comes through on the baby. If you were black and she were white, there would be no doubt in your mind.
