Hey The Puppy,

These are living people? You did not say where, and that does matter. ZABASEARCH works great in the USA. White Pages works great in USA, INfobel works in most countries, but there are specific telephone directories for every country that can also help. Here are some sites that should help you find the living lost realatives.

I would say Salvation Army first of all but they may ask for a financial donation.

Otherwise check out the links on here. Loads of forums to post information on.

Friends and Genes reunited require you to pay money to contact people or post.

Try writing to The Salvation Army! I know it might sound daft but I know they used to trace people for you. My dad found his dad through them but that was in the seventies. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, so give it a go,you never know. Supply them with as much detail you have of her i.e Name last known address, date of birth, place of birth. Good Luck!

Have a look on www.192.com

Its one of the most comprehensive directories of living people.

I agree with the suggestion's made but most of them (apart from friends re-united) deal with people pre-1901.

If this doesn't work have you tried googleing them?

Although you have to pay for it, ancestry.com is an excellent website - it has UK records going back to 1821 - I found out lots!
