I want a new desktop computer that is affordable. What would be a good brand? I cannot live without internet and microsoft office. I also love uploading pictures and downloading music. I sometimes watch movies, but mostly pics, music, researching, and organizing. Please help

(moving out and complaining not an option) Are there any home remedies I can try to get rid of these roaches? I spray once a week. They're not huge and I just cleaned my apt top to bottom and discovered that they're not living in my apt somewhere they must be in the walls. I think it might be the ceiling b/c I ONLY see them on the walls & ceilings. They are always running too (I assume b/c of the spray) so it's like they just move through my apt. I've heard of several things I can do to the floor/cabinets but what could I do for the walls & ceilings besides spray?

I am a secondary school student of East-Asian descent studying in New Zealand. Recently, one of my teachers at school degraded my country in front of the whole class and kept on talking about my country as well as all other East- Asian countries for nearly about 15 minutes. She is an English teacher of European descent.

She said that international students are naughty and immature.
She went on to say that asian countries are really stupid as they keep sending international students for language-acquiring purpose. She even dared to point out my typical origin and claimed people from my country are dumb people.

As she said these shocking things, my class-mates mostly whites
glimpsed at me to see whether I'm getting red or angry and started laughing.

I was totally shocked, and I couldn't say anything until the class finished. I thought New Zealand was a pretty safe place with tolerance to other cultures, but this experience made me rewrite my incorrect view. Are europeans racis

Im beginning to get frustrated with crate training. It seems that the crate only prevents my dog from going to the bathroom while its in there and doesn't to teach it not to go inside. I take my dog out every 4 hours or so but if it has to go between each trip it does where ever. I dont hit her, and I dont want to have to hit her, but I also dont want to have to keep my eye on it every second Im in the same room with her for the rest of her life. It almost seems like I should set-up an accident so I can scold her. As of right now I dont do any punishment if I dont catch her in the act. Even then I just say NO! please help

I've only had two jobs in all my life, and all of them had been retail, cashier. And I want to try something new like a bank teller. My mom's friend is going to hook me up to work there. Is it an easy job, do you think I'm going to be able to handle it with just the above experience?

I've been using a set that a buddy gave me which are nearly as old as I am. I've been checking out a couple of inexpensive sets and I thought I had a great set of irons picked out. They are graphite shaft. I've never hit graphite shaft irons. I asked the sales man who said graphite shafts were a poor choice in irons unless you're a woman or a senior male. What do you guys think? Distance? Accuracy?

I just turned 18, and can not live at home anymore, not being kicked out but cant deal with all the verbal abuse, thing is im still in High School, i dont want to drop out, but i know if i were to move out, i would need to drop out in order, to survive (work all day to pay for a shack), have any of u heard of the goverment paying 4 my housing till i finish school? if not what can i do? a real estate agent? i want to get a license so i can save money instead of giving all the commison to someone else. but do u have to be with a firm to do it?

couldn't a for sale by owner, (but somone who has a license), list it on the MLS to give 2.5% to buyer agents to bring more buyers?

OK...let me start by making somewhat of an analogy. You know how when you're looking at...well, whatever, with just your eyes, how it looks? Now, have you ever looked at something through glass? Beside just being clearer, what you see seems more consistent, defined, it just...does. What I'm asking is...you know how if you make a small film with a camera, even if you film well and edit well and such, why does it not have that 'finished' quality that an actual movie does. The only way I can describe it is that you're seeing it through eyes, but not through glass. It isn't as crisp, focused, clear, defined, organized- it just isn't. If you know what I'm talking about....could you please explain to me, why? And how does it work? Thanks.
