I've only had two jobs in all my life, and all of them had been retail, cashier. And I want to try something new like a bank teller. My mom's friend is going to hook me up to work there. Is it an easy job, do you think I'm going to be able to handle it with just the above experience?

Yes,
It is a great job and many of the skills are similar to being a good cashier. Most banks have lots of training and you learn computer skills you can use in whatever career you choose. The most important attributes for being a successful bank teller are honesty, customer service, being able to multi-task and an ablity to make quick decisions.

Shouldn't be a problem. With your experience, handling money will be no big deal, and you'll be able to pick up the other procedures quickly. As I recall -- I was a teller back in my college days -- the biggest problem was boredom, but that was quite some time ago. I say go for it!

It will be like any other job. There will be a lot of paper work since you will be in a bank. Detail is key, if you tend to be quick and sloppy, then pass because your bosses would be very unhappy if you lost some important financial papers. Just keep a smiling and do what your asked, and you'll be fine. Just like any other job.

sure. Change is good, and you may find a brand new talent u never thought you had! I like to switch my jobs up a little, see which industries I like best. Pretty much as long as ur not stuck in the fast food web, your doing great. lol.
As long as you're dedicated, you can do anything with little experience, except for maybe brain surgery...
so good luck with you new job, i hope it all works well for you!
