Regardless of your political or wordly views I just want a simple reply: Who would win the war if the United States and Iran went toe to toe. Just a simple response will do i.e. Iran would win it in five days flat or I don't know will suffice...spare me anything else, thanks.

uh... U.S.... BIG TIME...
Iran is about the same militarily as Iraq was, at best a little stronger... and the actual "war" part of Iraq lasted like 2 months...

USA easily. We toppled Saddam's regime in 3 weeks. We could topple the Iranian government in probably a month. It wouldn't even be close. We're freakin USA, we're not losing to Iran. We have better technology, better capabilities, better soldiers, better toys. I'm not talking about occupation, i'm talking about overthrowing the current government.
