I'm a freshman in high school and it's been 5 months since school started and I still haven't made any friends. Everyday during lunch I go to an isolated place so I won't have to face the harshness of the other kids. The students at my high school are ALL stuck up, immature, stupid, care TOO much about fashion, and make lame comments. I've had people say, "Hey loner! How's your sad life! Haha." "Kevin's such a loser, he hangs out by himself." "You were talking to him?" "Don't talk to him, he's gay." and people who have walked up to me straight forward and insulted me. Whenever I need help like asking about homework and borrowing things I ask someone and they just say, "Do I know you?" (they do) and some just ignore me intentionally. Once during class while we were debating about a topic I just stated my opinion and one "cool" guy disagreed. Then 7 ignorant others just backed him up and insulted me for no reason. I'm popular for being a loser/loner, how ironic.

I used to always hang around this boy named Tim, but we never actually got together. It's been two years and his girlfriend broke up with him Friday. We have always been friends, so I tried to make him feel better. I talked to his ex girlfriend, and she wanted him back. Tim said he was done with her and he didn't want to go back with her. Well we've always liked each other and we finally got together today but I feel bad. Even though him and his girl are over, I did talk to her and we became friends. I think she'sgonna think I just wanted him from the beginning and that I was fake the whole time. But me and Tim have always liked each other for two years but never got a chance to get together. Was I wrong to go with him?

Im new to the industry and have been a L.O. for about 1 1/2 months and would like to have some advice on how i can close some loans. I've pulled aps and went on some appointments, but those appointments seem to be more of a waste of time even though it was a learning experience. This might be a stupid question, but I just brought freeze-dried brine shrimp for my little Betta. On the label it says "for freshwater & marine fish". I know that Bettas are tropical fish...So I'm wondering if there's a difference between "marine" and "tropical"? Perhaps I'm over-thinking this one :)

I know that the lower the mileage the greater the value, but I mean miles add up so fast! do you guys try to keep the mileage low? or just drive with no mileage hesitation ? I know, I know - El Nino. They underestimated the effects of El Nino and they masked the effects of global warming. Except that that proves my point. If you can't tell me on May 1 of a given year what's in store for a region from August through November of the same year in terms of storms - just a big-picture how bad's it gonna be, then why on earth should I give you any credibility with respect to the climate, globally, 50-100 years out????

Bottom line it's been warmer than it is, for countless periods including at least three other multi-century periods since the last Ice Age, when atmospheric CO2 levels were LOWER than they are today. That does't DIS-prove man-made global warming but it certainly means you can't just rest your case on the rough (and it is very rough) coincidence between the Industrial Revolution and the present warming period.

But that coincidence is all the AGW crowd has EVER had....

A lot of people suspecting the same thing doesn't equal proof.

Hi I am wondering if you have a c-section.. if there is any exercises I can do to get rid of that baby fat roll!!! I've heard crunches and stuff would not help because the muscles were cut!

I'm really trying to not eat a lot of processed, junk food in an effort to not only feel better but also to lose about 10 pounds. However, my boyfriend isn't really into the healthy food craze and eats a lot of junk food and works at a pizza place (so of course that doesn't help). We both go to the gym together on a regular basis and are both aware of each other's fitness goals. However, both of our eating habits are very different and when I am around him I eat the same foods he does. We don't live together so it is hard to fix healthy meals together; often times he just wants to grab fast food on the go and with few "healthy" choices, it is really hard to stay on track. How do I make healthy eating a part of both of our lives, or how do I avoid temptation when I am around him and his junk food?
