There is no such thing as a teacup anything. Thats just a breeders way of trying to make more money.

I totally understand the attraction of a little cute puppy. It is true that there really is no such thing according to kennel clubs but some breeders use the term to sell and some use it to describe. It is interesting how the term can be such a hot button for some dog lovers.
Yorkies and maltese are small. Make sure to go through a reputable breeder - do your homework. Use kijiji online or other ad services in the area. Keep numbers and names. Ask lots of questions and enjoy the puppy shopping process. Use this time to gather as much info as possible about how to raise and train a healthy dog. You can also check out shelters but smaller dogs are tough to find. Have fun and best wishes when you do find your pup. Our 6 year old yorkie is 3.5 pounds but thinks he is at least 100 pounds.
We sure do love him and we shopped very carefully for him. We recently almost bought a second dog but the breeder just didn't feel like the right person to go with. Trust your gut and take your time.

There is no teacup puppy breed. These are either the runts of a litter which can make fine pets, or some people are breeding dogs that are too small for their breed to make even smaller dogs. The dogs who are breed this way can have a lot of health problems. If you want a small dog you could always get a Chihuahua. They are between 2-6 lbs(breed standard) smaller than most newborn babies, and I can't imagine why anyone would want a dog smaller than that.

Hi , I bought a teacup puppy on a silver stand of a BIschon Frise dog sitting in it. quite cute. I got it from the Bischon Frise club here in Auckland nz. Just try any breeders or clubs.

I know that some churches can be quite big, but if you look REALLY, hard in there ... you might find one in the corner.
