I have food poisoning right now, and one of the doctors instructions was to east saltine crackers. I bought some from the store and I just realized now that the expiration date is Jan. 23 2007. Today is January 29. Will I get sicker if I eat them. Or will I be ok.

A ball is thrown vertically upwards with an initial velocity of 20.08 m/s. How long is the ball in the air? t= 4.09 s

What is the greatest height reache dby the ball? x= 20.6 m

**** Calculate the time at which the ascending ball reached a height of 15 m. ???

I'm stuck on the last problem. I tried plugging it into a qudratic equation 15m=0+20.08t + 1/2(9.8)t^2 so 4.9t^2 + 20.08t - 15. The answer was 0.64 s but it didnt' work and doesn't make since. I also trie comparing the two numbers so [2.049 s (the time it takes to reach the maximum height) * 15m/20.57m) = 1.5 s. That made more since to me, but this also didn't work. Any hints?

Help... My lovely 3-year old hit her head against the edge of a glass table yesterday, and got a nasty cut smack in the middle of her forehead. Anybody have any ideas if I could do something to prevent the formation of an ugly scar? The cut was deep, but did not need stiching.

I have a 1996 Chevy Cavalier that is driving me up a wall. I had the head gasket replaced , new water pump, thermostat, complete system flush. Temp guage goes all the way to red and back to cold in a matter of seconds and NO heat in car? Whats the problem here?

I'm not claming to be the master of romance or anything like that but how come now a days people are obsessed with dating and being in a relationship? I mean women always fall in love so easily and men are always trying to date the hottest thing out there.... Has love or lust really been the only source of real happiness in life? Is romance really as necessary as air that we have to have all the time and if we don't our lives are miserable or there's something wrong with you that you are un-datable? It seems like every movie, every tv show and every song is about love and relationships or has some love elements to it and there's a bagajillion books out there on how to get a guy or how to get over a break up and even romance novels about love dilemmas....I dunno what i'm even trying to say anymore i just got myself confused....

I mean, I thought it was a simple instruction. In the past, I have used more complex instructions (no guard on parts, etc.), but I thought this simple, standard cut would be no problem. I was shocked when he asked me "how short?"

I have recently got a job offer from a high profile multi national. I am not too sure whether I should take this job as I am scared I will get to spend less time with my 2 yr old daughter due to extra travelling time. ( My current company is about 20-25 mins away and the new one would be 45-50 mins away). I made it very clear during my interview that my daughter gets first priority in my life as compared to my job and that late working hours or weekend working is not acceptable to me. Still I have been offered by the job, which probably means that they are open to my terms and conditions. I am confused about why I am so apprehensive to take this job even though it is a dream-come-true job.please help me deal with this funny turmoil.

I'm living in China and I would really like to get some kind of baby class before I have the baby but they don't seem to have any here. I have no idea how to feed/ diaper/ bathe/ hold/ carry...well let's just say I know jack about babies...AND I'm more than 6 months pregnant. I spent 10 years in the Army and none of my friends or family have had small children...since then I have been living in China. My family is still in America so that makes them helping out kind of hard. Any suggestions?

the question is did i give her a good first impression...(is she giving me a green light) it started, she was like most ladies don't really talk (looked [pretty serious) to anyone unless someone have a question or she has a question to ask them. i tested myself... trying to be confident went up & her talked to her a couple of times about her hobbies and job (paying attention to her opinions etc)... the first conversation i had with her she smiled, as she was making her exit to the door she paused and asked for my name... after that everytime when she glanced at me she gives me this :)
i asked her tonight to go hang out with me on a weekend and she said she'd love to go, she has to check her schedule insisted on giving me an answer by the next day (she works is an elementary school teacher) she is currently taking a partime college class with me
i'm not thinking interms of sex (rubby dubby)... its more like did i get her interest, and can move to a positive future relationship?
