So I want to fall asleep to the radio (quiet), but have it wake up up nice and loud (so it actually wakes me up). Anyone know of a clock radio that will do this?

I'm not sure about a clock radio, but I have a stereo that I can listen to while I go to sleep and set a sleep timer that will fade the music out and eventually turn off when the time comes. Then it will come on loud in the morning for my alarm. I've had it for about....7 or 8 years though lol so I'm not sure what is around now, but I'm sure they still make stuff like that. But like I said, if you can't find a clock radio, try looking at stereos.

This is kind of different, but it might serve your purpose . . . While searching out a present on gifts.com, I came across an alarm clock that had an extension cord with a vibrating pod that you put under your pillow, as well as the radio part. Maybe that could work for you?

at the same time as your no longer operating, perhaps on a weekend or some thing, attempt to stay wakeful as long as you may and hit the sack at an early mattress time hour. It helped me when I had difficulty drowsing. another approaches are warmth milk or sleepytime tea by technique of Celestial Seasonings chanced on at any food market with the different teas. also attempt Alluna. Its an over the counter organic supplement that you'll get probable at Walmart. Its no longer a drug and not in any respect habit forming. would not make you groggy the subsequent day and also you sleep with the help of the evening. Works properly, notwithstanding the flavor and smell are exceptionally undesirable.
