I want to answer this honestly and sarcastically. First, sarcastically. As Tenacious D says " from now on we will travel in tubes!" OK, now that my sarcasm is over, I'll answer honestly. The future means of transportation, at least in our life time, will be much the same as today's means of transportation. We will have cars and such, just different fuels and more efficient engines. The fuel sources could be ethanol or diesel from bio-mass such as corn, sugar cane, soy, or even from the leftover junk of farming such as corn stover. Even hydrogen can be used as a fuel source. To store in cars, we must develop nano-tubes to store liquid hydrogen in. There will be no fossil fuels in the future and all will be ran on some sort of alternative fuel. Unfortunately, this may not happen in our life time, but we can hope.

inspite of what you pick Barrow, Alaska is probable to have a diverse transportation blend than Miami, Florida. as well climate, city that's flat and open like Ames, Iowa is going to present diverse annoying circumstances than a extra vertical position like NYC. So the motorcar i'd like in a unmarried position is probable to regulate in yet another surroundings. There are electric powered help bicycles and there turned right into a minimum of one electric powered motor vehicle you would possibly want to also pedal so this variety of human/electric powered hybrid would also be a probability.
