I used to always hang around this boy named Tim, but we never actually got together. It's been two years and his girlfriend broke up with him Friday. We have always been friends, so I tried to make him feel better. I talked to his ex girlfriend, and she wanted him back. Tim said he was done with her and he didn't want to go back with her. Well we've always liked each other and we finally got together today but I feel bad. Even though him and his girl are over, I did talk to her and we became friends. I think she'sgonna think I just wanted him from the beginning and that I was fake the whole time. But me and Tim have always liked each other for two years but never got a chance to get together. Was I wrong to go with him?

You did nothing wrong. I understand why you would feel guilty about this. But you've wanted this for a long time and it's not like you were responsible for the breakup. You even tried to help her fix things and Tim was not interested. You are in the clear and have done nothing wrong. If you think it will help, try talking to his ex about it and explaining, but I think it's totally unnecessary.
My best wishes to you and Tim.

I think you should go for Tim, it seems that both of you like eachother. He was respectfull enough to his to wait unitll they broke up before anything physical happened between him and you, which is a great sign that he wont cheat on you. About his ex, she's not in the picture anymore dont worry about how she feels cuz there is a reason she is the ex! Even if you 2 dont become bff, you did happen to find a great guy. Follow your heart!

If you were friends with her, then I think it was wrong. If you just casually know each other, I think you could have waited a bit longer. And can you say rebound? You don't get over a two year relationship over the weekend.

follow ur heart. If ur great friends with her then dont go with him but if he means that much to u then forget her and get ur man. Another thing u can do is give him time to get fully over her so ur not a rebound and that he really does like u.

Won't say you're really. It's just that you feel bad for "taking" her bf away. It is Tim's choice eventually.

I don't think that you are wrong, if Tim said that he was over with her ex. so he chooses you as his girlfriend, why ? because he think that you are better than his ex. girl. As long as you weren't provoked them till they broke up, i think you mustn't feel guilty.

It doesn't sound like you did this to be mean or spiteful. In fact, quite the contrary, you feel bad about it. However, you don't need to. When faced with having to defend what happened, just be honest. Its not likely your friendship with her will surive, but you have no reason to feel guilty about it......
