Moving violation, Avoiding an Intersection, issued by Nassau County police, New York State.

This ticket is on year old. Is there a statute of limitations for traffic infractions ?

Obviously, I have NOT received a speedy trial.

I'm afraid there might be a judgment against me, or a warrant that I haven't received any notice about.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is the situation.. I have a boyfriend whom doesn't work but he goes to school. The problem is that he isn't doing good in school. I'm trying to help him out but he says that school is just not for him. He wants to be a cop, problem is that to be a cop you have to have at least 60 college credits and a GPA of 2.0 or higher. He only has 20 credits and his GPA is 1.4 This is why I want to help him out. Another thing is that I am the one who works and at the end pays for everything. I really want him to get a job and he says that he wants one too. So yesterday I was looking for an office job for him, and I started sending emails for interviews. When I told him about it, he was a bit upset because he "doesn't want a boring job." He wants to work in a clothig store. Ahhhhh this is getting me a bit frustrated because I'm thinking about the future and it seems like he isn't. Although it seems like he is because he talks about us and stuff, but his actions show otherwise. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Back in 99 or 2000, living in canada, i used to hear a song on the radio by some cheesy boy-band and i am 100 percent certain it contained the lyrics "i'm gonna write you the ultimate love song"

i have searched every search engine and every lyric database on the net, to no avail. i have posted this question under music, and someone replied it was by john hampson, when i speifically stated in the question it was not by him!

how can a song from this century, with radio air time, broadcast in an english-speaking nation of 35 million have disappeared without a trace??

when the romans disapproved strongly of a politician or royalty, they would burn or scratch out any reference to that person in scrolls or on monuments...can this happan in modern times...i think so!

another person posted this same question to yahoo, also to no avail, so i am not the only one who has heard the song. i am not crazy!

please, if you know the song, post a link to the artist or lyrics!

Does everyone understand how our governemnt works? That our president doesn't get to make up what our country does or doesn't do as he goes? That all laws and government actions need to be approved by a whole bunch of other people we vote for? Everyone is so quick to judge George Bush for the war, or this or that, but what about the senators and legislators we vote for that supposedly represent you? Did you guys even bother to vote for them, or are you too busy running around yelling about what a bad job the president is doing..

It may be fashionable to some, so are we going back to the cavemen age? Women are held in high esteem throughout the ages because of their selfless duty to the development of a God believing society simply by being a women. God says in all the main religious scriptures about the importance of modesty. In the holy Quran, The Almighty has stated about the 2 types of humans who are spared the fires of hell, They are 1) those who worship the lord with tears of repentance, 2) those who love their mothers, are kind and to never raise their voice at them. Isn't that a direct protective order to us in general to respect and cherish them? Don't get me wrong, i love women as a son and husband though i am divorced at present, ha ha. my question is ; is there a need to dress in such clothings and why?

Senator Obama has this problem, among others. Do you think he could overcome this "bump in the road" and win anyway?
