Back in 99 or 2000, living in canada, i used to hear a song on the radio by some cheesy boy-band and i am 100 percent certain it contained the lyrics "i'm gonna write you the ultimate love song"

i have searched every search engine and every lyric database on the net, to no avail. i have posted this question under music, and someone replied it was by john hampson, when i speifically stated in the question it was not by him!

how can a song from this century, with radio air time, broadcast in an english-speaking nation of 35 million have disappeared without a trace??

when the romans disapproved strongly of a politician or royalty, they would burn or scratch out any reference to that person in scrolls or on monuments...can this happan in modern times...i think so!

another person posted this same question to yahoo, also to no avail, so i am not the only one who has heard the song. i am not crazy!

please, if you know the song, post a link to the artist or lyrics!

It probably sucked and people have blocked it from their memories to save the agony of remembering it. Why in the world would there need to be a "cover up" of some cheesy boy-band song?
Conspiracy theorists are funny.

Just because you can't find reference to it is hardly a reason to believe there is a conspiracy.

Jeez, use your brain! Why would anyone ACTIVELY spend money to erase a stupid song. It's not even a political song. It would take billions to erase all references to it.

Or you could just suck at internet searches.

Which is more likely.
