How long will it take after delivery for my breast to dry up? it has been two weeks and they still pour. I haven't pumped or breastfeed. any ideas on how to make it stop. Also, why are you supposed to wait 6 weeks to have sex. Any medical reasoning? TIA

In the documentary "Dark Waters Rising" on the animal rescue in New Orleans after Katrina, one of the rescuers, when debating about whether to return animals to the owner or adopt them out, said, "These homes weren't habitable BEFORE Katrina."

Our government couldn't even manage to get in to give them clearn water even though the Canadian Mounted Police managed to bring supplies all the way from our northern border.

It is no secret that there are many, many families STILL left without the means to rebuild.

Should it be a surprise to anyone that the "terrorist" (crime) rate in New Orleans is sky rocketing through the roof of the Superdome?

If we don't care enough about people to provide them with basic necessities i.e food, shelter, and healthcare...why should they care about us or hold our homes or our lives inviolate?

Is it possible that poverty and inequality could have anything to do with it?

I was taking a 25mg dose of Celexa a little over a year now for anxiety; I spoke to my doctor about coming off of the medication because most of my anxiety arose after a tramatic car accident almost 2 years ago. He told me to take a pill every other day for a week and after 7 days to stop taking them completely, which I did. This is my second day of not taking the medication and my head feels, I'm not sure how to explain it, kind of "loopy". I was curious to know if this is just a temporary feeling that will go away once the medication completely leaves my system? I've been ok as far as the anxiety goes, it's just this "loopy" feeling that is bugging me...any input is appreciated!

What I am really wanting to know is..... Is it a good place to go if you don't wanna be around nude drunks?? I'm not sure what kind of place it is, but I do know that some beaches are horrible with people running around taking their clothes off and paying women necklaces to take off their shirts. I DO NOT want to be around that kinda trash! It would totally ruin my vacation! Me and my husband are planning to go to Orlando to stay 4 nights for our fifth wedding anniversary. We thought about going to a beach somewhere close for one day. Any infoCocoa Beach? Any info on Orlando? Thanks! Also, I am new to this site, so sorry if i have offended anyone!

I have a 6-year old son and I am not with his father. He currently lives with me. His dad does not provide for him. I am his primary care giver. I am planning on moving to another state, my son and I. Can his dad take me to court and try to take my boy away from me? Is there any steps I should be taking now to avoid this?

Sometimes we are brutally reminded of the hate and ignorance in our society. (the recent "texas chainsaw massacre" on YA this past hour)

Keep the faith people. On an anonymous public forum like YA many more disturbed "degree holders" will visit and insult us. We cannot prevent this.

Excuse me if I post another piece on RESPECT which I find relevant.

Respect has great importance in everyday life. As children we are taught (one hopes) to respect our parents, teachers, and elders, school rules and traffic laws, family and cultural traditions, other people's feelings and rights, our country's flag and leaders, the truth and people's differing opinions. And we come to value respect for such things; when we're older, we may shake our heads (or fists) at people who seem not to have learned to respect them. We develop great respect for people we consider exemplary and lose respect for those we discover to be clay-footed, and so we may try to respect only those who are truly worthy of our respect. We may also come to believe that, at some level, all people are worthy of respect. We may learn that jobs and relationships become unbearable if we receive no respect in them; in certain social milieus we may learn the price of disrespect if we violate the street law: “Diss me, and you die.” Calls to respect this or that are increasingly part of public life: environmentalists exhort us to respect nature, foes of abortion and capital punishment insist on respect for human life, members of racial and ethnic minorities and those discriminated against because of their gender, sexual orientation, age, religious beliefs, or economic status demand respect both as social and moral equals and for their cultural differences. And it is widely acknowledged that public debates about such demands should take place under terms of mutual respect. We may learn both that our lives together go better when we respect the things that deserve to be respected and that we should respect some things independently of considerations of how our lives would go.

My son just called me in to his bedroom, despite the fact it was well after his bed time. "What do you want?" I said. "See my digital clock, Dad?" he said "It's as bright as it can ever be!"

What was the time?

Of course it is!

Roe (Norma McCorvey) was never pregnanat nor has she ever had an abortion.... Years later she is one the most active Pro-Life leaders in the nation.

My question to you is.....since the law was built up on a lie, shouldn't it be removed and let someone else take it to court?

Reguardless of your own personal feelings about abortion, don't you find it ODD??? I really wonder who was behind this in the first place. The Lawyers?

For those of you who might be in disbelief, google her!

I've been dating my GF for about 7 months and I know she wants to get married and have kids eventually. I told her when we first met that I want that too, but now I don't think I ever want to get married, with all the doom and gloom associated with marriage these days, and I now think kids are overrated and will cause a sexless, stressful, financial burden of a relationship. Should I just break up with her? I'm scared to tell her this...

How do you break a bad habit?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its all my fault and I take the full blame. We have come a long way with Bella but there is just one thing that is going on that I have to stop but I don't know how. When I first let her sleep out of the crate at night she slept on her own very cozy bed in our room. Then she started to jump in bed during the night, we were too tired to push her off. But we don't want her in the bed, I don;t know why but I just think a dog should sleep in their own bed. So what do I do to change this--I can't start her back in the crate because I know she will whine ---should I leash her to the foot of the bed to keep her where I want her? I know it was just plain stupid of me to allow her in the bed in the first place, when she was smaller I thought it was cozy but now I just want to be cozy with my husband. Go ahead, throttle me, but then give me some advice please

We are playing MJ with 14 tiles- discard then pick.
Player A discards tile, Player C calls tile, HOWEVER, next player, Player B calls Mah Jongg (not using discarded tile) at the exact time that Player C calls discarded tile. Does play resume with player C getting tile for exposure or does the Mah Jongg of Player B take precedence as win?
