Can someone please help me help a friend? My co-worker/friend is having some real serious issues going on right now that I am having a hard time helping her with. What's happening is the guy she has been seeing on and off for some years married someone else even though he has never stopped seeing/communicating with her. I know she is distraught because she has done so much for this guy. Even waited on him for 8 years while he was incarcerated. In my opinion she has never been #1 in his life even though she acts like they just have this inseparable relationship. She always said things to his past girlfriends like he's not going anywhere and she's not either, etc. (almost with an arrogant tone). when I try to tell her he's just using her and if he loved her he wouldn't have never married another woman. Especially one that he hasn't known as long as he has had history with her. Maybe if she saw other responses, she wouldn't just think I was hating on her.

Keeping drugs illegal scares a few people from taking them.
However a million others use them to different degrees. Put in the balance what's the net benefit of prohibition? Not much.

Disadvantages of prohibition
Keeps drugs prices high.
Keeps illegal business gangs, maffia, terrorists going because is a highly priced commodity that it's easily to conceal.
The anti drug laws that pushes their price high also pushes drug addicts to mug, beat, break and enter and steal your car or even murder you.
Huge amounts of money spent incarcerating people at $50,000 a year could be spent on health, education and fighting homelessness, and treating addicts.
We would create a better more viable society by repealling present anti drug legislation.

As there are many different Christian denominations with widely varying beliefs and traditions, how do you reconcile that all these denominations are still Christian and still the "one true path" (or do you?) Clearly, these are all very different paths...?

This happened at her dad's house @ 1130 at night. His 21 yr old nephew came and picked her up and dropped her off with a group of friends @ a store parking lot. They then walked to one of the boys' house where my daughter tells me there was a dad there and all they did was 'watch TV.' I tracked her down the next day @ a girlfriend's house and picked her up--much to her dismay. She said she was planning to hang out with her friend, stay the next night with her and go to school in the morning--no biggie. Although she says the words "I know what I did was wrong", she doesn't appear remorseful. She has had episodes of alcohol consumption while in her dad's care (don't worry--I'm not going to let her stay over at his place anymore!) and I think she has tried out pot and pills. This is a beautiful girl who has the potential to accomplish so much. How do I impress on her that she is on a steep slope to destruction? Whatever her punishment is mine as well as I am the sole enforcer.

I've been going out with this guy for 2 weeks and i really like him ALOT!! He still doesn't treat me like a gf!! Im sooo nice to him and i ALWAYS give him money for gas and stuff!! My boyfriend recently broke up with me and he said the main reason was because he couldn't handle me being a virgin at twenty five. I am experienced with every other type of sexual act, and even he said that I was quite talented, especially for someone who has never had sex. I am not unatracttive, and iIhave had boyfriends, I just haven't found any body who I tought was special enough to have sex with yet. I thought after he told me he loved me that he might be my first, so I told him, figuring he had the right to to know if anything did ever happen between us. Being a virgin is something I never told anyone else except him, although quite recently I told my best friend. Instead, he used it against me and said he couldn't deal with being my first. What does that mean? I always though men thought virgins were hot, and if he loved me, why couldn't he just respect the fact, and be glad I told him the truth?

Isnt saying Jesus being God in flesh, the same thing as saying God became created by the womb of a human woman?

And God cannot be created ladies and gentleman. Or can he?

So when Jesus was saying he was one with the father only figurative speech referring to his being of God but God not of him?

i was trying out new layouts, and when doing this all the content on the right side of my page (starting with my blogs and all the way down) have been pushed down to the same level as the "general interests," so now when going to my page you see my pic, contact table, and music player but the right side is completely blank until you scroll down, then my blogs start next to the "general interests." I put my old code back in which should have set everything back to the way it was but it still won't line up right. Please help
