I think most Catholics and nonCatholic Christians would agree that you cannot earn salvation by "works" or rituals - it is something given by God
but then I have understood that we must continue to "work out" our salvation all through life - I guess this "working out" is different from works but I dont know how or what that exactly that means

First of all Congradulations Saints Fan on a GREAT season. If I had to pick a team to lose to it would have been you, you and your team showed allot toughness and class until "Reggies moment in the spotlight" I'm sorry But that was BUSH!, and it came back to bite you and him right in the @SS!! i went out with this girl i like last week and she said she likes me 2 but the whole night she never really spoke to me much just to her friend but then she started talking a lot when we were walking home together just me and her and her mum drove past and she turned down getting a lift home and walked home with me instead this tells me she wanted to spend more time with me but im getting mixed signals what do u think is going on in her head do u think she really does want me or not?

We all know that Vastu is being made popular. People modify their houses as per the suggestions made by Vastu Shashtragnas. If we accept for a while that problems get solved by such modifications. Then my question is why not contact these people to get assembled at one place and think about eliminating the misery, problems from the wolrd just by changing the planetary position of our planet. Why do accidents occurs to the vehicles that have undergone 'Puja'. Why do building get damaged even after doing 'bhomi pooja' with enchanting all mantras? Is it not the fact that World over buildings are constructed without doing 'bhoomi pooja' but still they remain intact. Think for a while and answer?

I want to be fair! He would like to have his extended family present at the airport when he comes home. I would like for it just to be the two of us, as 7 months will have passed since we last saw one another. I know that if they come to the airport, they will want to come home with us, and we really would like to be alone the first night, naturally! They do not drive and I know my husband would feel obligated to drive them home, which would really put a damper on our reunion. If I was trying to be completely selfish, I would not be taking the time to ask this question, so please try not to be overly critical. I want him to be happy, and I know that having his family there is important to him, but we need to compromise, as I think my happiness is important too! Please help!!!!

Along the lines of my recent question asking how Christians feel about all the different denominations, I now ask you about homosexuality. Many said that if they teach Jesus, then they are okay with the denomination. Does that hold if the denomination supports homosexuality? How can you reconcile one denomination that says gay is okay with another that says God considers it a sin?
