Art Buchwald lived a long time after discontunuing dialysis. It depends on how complete the kidney "failure" is. If it is complete failure, a couple of weeks, more or less, depending on what all else is going wrong.

Well, Kidney is one of the important parts of our body, once it failed then other organ will gradually fail too!
