There was this Native American boy who was
confused so this is what he asked his mother:
Mom, why is my brother's name Windstorm?

She answered: Because he was conceived during
a wind storm.

Well, why is my sister's name Moon-shine? She
answered again: Because she was conceived when
the moon was shining.

The poor little boy looked sad and confused.

i made a video to put on youtube. I made the vid on windows movie player but when it had uploaded it said that the file format is invalid...but other ppl who have made it from windows movie players have said it has worked....so y doesnt mine

is there anything i can do to get my video working on youtube?

When I am around a guy that I like I don't really talk to him that much because I am very shy. This might also be the reason that I have never had a boyfriend....I am 14. I am just wondering if people think that I come across snotty when I am actually shy. Will I ever come out of my shyness and eventually get a boyfriend and later on get married?? Is this normal not having a boyfriend at 14 because it seems like EVERYBODY at school has had a boyfriend at this age?

I am wondering if I should get my timing belt replaced. A mechanic told me that if it is a chain belt, you shouldn't need to change it before 300 000 KM.Timming belts which are made of rubber, should be changed every 100 000KM. I presently have 127 000 KM on my car.

Please don't insult me for being a believer, if you look at my Q&A's I would never insult you but my uncles an atheist & he seems to know more about Christianity (me), Muslims, Buddhists & the Jewish faith than I & alot of religious people know & I was just curious as to why?

Our local strip bar is an all-nude juice bar. During lab dances you are permitted to touch the girl anywhere that is not covered by her thong, including kissing (no kissing on the mouth unless the girl initiates it.) Ok. So I don't understand.
a) he got acquitted from murder charges
b) he still lost a civil trial and got sentenced to millions in damages.

Since the second must base itself on the fact he is, somehow, responsible for the wrongful deaths and mùst indemnize the other party for their loss (whatever the exact nature of it, I could not get the exact terms and motives of the judgment), I can hardly reconcile it with the fact that the first trial cleared him of all charges, so I'd expect the double jeopardy clause to come in play... after all, a penal judgment, given its potential consequences ought not to be overturned by a civil jurisdiction right?

I can't make sense of it

I was required to write an essay in math, using the typical style of writing and everything. I did so, turned it in, didn't get it back for a while. Later, my mom tells me she read it and laughed her but off because I guess I added a bit of humor in there I wasn't aware of, but she told me he loved it. I constantly get compliments on my writing skills, which I am obviously proud of. But, when I got my score, I wasn't all that thrilled, but i accepted it. Then I heard my teacher tell a few students who went up to get their paper that she kept theirs because they were better than most of the classes. Needless to say, I was pretty shot down. I thought I did really well on the paper. I thought I deserved a better score, and then I hear I had a bad paper! I don't know if I should ask her about it, or what. I mean, she's not even a Lit teacher! She didn't mark my paper up with corrections or anything! I wan't to talk to her, but I don't want to seem snobbish about my work.

i like to think of myself as a free thinker. Very independent in my political and social views. Because of this I watch different news venues - and read several news papers. Depending on which one, there seems to be varying reports leaning either Conservative or Liberal.
This doesnt bother me when you have an editorial show...but isnt reporting supposed to be unbiased? Do other people feel the way I do? And do people feel angry that some rich CEO is forcing us to believe in what they believe?
