SKG'R, I don't know what kind of auto parts store you're going to. I haven't seen one yet that sells street lights or stop signs.

Yes. A number of companies sell these to type of lights to municipalities et al. There are fewer traffic signal companies than light companies. There are also companies that sell the inductive loop sensors for the traffic signal lights - they are what control the lights (including the henry meter).

I think probably yes, because in my state they all look exactly alike, but when I see others on the news they look kind of different or weird to me. I'd guess that each state or region would have it's own facility for making them. I doubt they would have them sent across the country from one place.
