I bought a car in 2000 and in 2001 lost it in a repo. I have reviewed my credit and it says that it will stay in my record till 2008. But a few day ago I received a call from a person saying they had bought that case and that if I wanted to settle. I told them I didn't have money because I have 4 kids and only one job. They said they would take it to court and that they would have that taken from my check. What % in the state of California would be taken. Also would it affect my tax return for this year.

I am cleaning up my computer and need to know about some programs.?

I was in add/delete programs and there are a few programs that i don't know what they are or what they do. Can anyone tell me what they are and if i need to keep them on my computer?

1. Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1
2. Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Hotfix
3. Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0
4. Windows Installer 3.1

My Computer is installed with WindowsXP professional, if that makes any difference.

Should I sell my car back to the dealer with car loan?

I purchased a 2006 civic in end of 2005 but I can't keep this car due to work oversea. I am still own the loan which I could not pay off now. Is that a smart way to sell it back to the dealer? What will happen to my loan?

Was supersonic airliner Concorde just a hoax?

Well, if we haven't got a supersonic airliner now and one isn't on the drawing board, how come it was supposedly developed in the 1960's. How come we can't do it now?

(That is one of the lame reason's people have for supporting the notion that the moon landings were not real, so by the same token Concorde was a hoax. It never flew at twice the speed of sound. It couldn't have done, because we can't build a supersonic airliner now)

Celebrity Big Brother death threats, are they justified?

After watching Celebrity Big Brother housemates victimise Bollywood star Shilpa, it seems that India is up in arms. It's been reported that people are taking to the streets burning things whilst chanting "Down with Big Brother!"
As well as this, Channel 4 has reportedly recieved e-mails of "concern" wich are being "investigated" by police, prompting speculation that they are indeed death threats.

I understand that many people are EXTREMELY angry with Jade (rummoured to have said "she makes my skin crawl" about Shilpa), Jo, Danielle and Jack; I also understand and completely agree that they should be made to formally appologise in person to Shilpa. Though I believe they are ignorant and vile individuals I find myself wondering, has everything gone a bit too far?

Surely the worst thing that could happen to these fame hungry people is to be removed from the public eye indefinately, and have all their fans see them for how they are; death threats are a little extreme.
