I started wearing glasses when I was 12 years old. In 2002, those glasses I used to wear, I didn't really needed to wear it because I can see normally. In 2006, I went back to my doctor and he write me a new glasses but this time, I have to wear it all of the time. He said that my eyes were getting worst.

I cried because I was wondering what if my eyes keep getting worst as I get older. Why am I the only one wearing a glasses in the family? My whole family can see everything perfectly.

A mathematically backed answer would be much appreciated! Please by all means use fourier to answer if you can.

Even an answer without mathematical backing would be appreciated.

Normally I use Tide detergent but I have noticed my clothes are fading quickly since I moved and no longer have well water. I was wondering if Cheer works the best for protecting color? I had to buy some to wash my husband's ACUs which require washing in only certain detergents. Is Cheer really better than Tide?

I would really like answers from people that are from a non-denominational church because if you are not part of that church then you really can answer with a truthful answer so please help me answer this, Just trying to understand.....

It's not just asians but i've seen many asians having one of those electronic translators. My question is, people have learned and survived even when those things didn't exist. You just need to study a bit and then you can ask , make questions if you don't understand something. Even make drawings or diagrams to get the point across. Being dependant on a little gadget is weird. I'm studying Japanese too, and if I went to Japan i wouldn't buy one of those ever. I would ask or figure it out little by little. I don't know, but i feel these Asians who often carry one of these translators are not going to learn much if they rely on those things.

My boyfriend wants me to dress up in trashy style for bedroom fun. Obviously too much mascara, make up and a bleach blonde wig are needed, but what colours are trashy clothes wise. I have bought a bright pink tight pencil skirt, but I am torn between black patent stillettos with shiny flesh coloured stockings or gold stillettos, which is better or worse in this case. What colour of top will clash with the skirt. Would a cerise top calm down the effect or improve it? Any other colours of tops/ skirts, royal blue and green, navy and red or pink and purple that can be combined for that trashy 80s look?

I realize what the ring symbolizes but now days you have the engagement ring surrounded by guards used as rings, anyone with just a wedding band is snubbed at these days. Why is the ring so incredibly important to people? Isn't the meaning more important? I have a freind who doesn't even wear a band. Why do people always say, "oh you just got married? Let me see the ring"?

A rigid tank of small mass contains 55.0 g of argon, initially at 230°C and 100 kPa. The tank is placed into a reservoir at 0°C and is allowed to cool to thermal equilibrium. Calculate the following:

(a) The volume of the tank
**I found to be 57.59 L, which is correct. The rest is what I need help on...

(b) the change in internal energy of the argon
I know that the change in internal energy is equal to Q-W and thet W=Qhot-Qcold, but I'm not really sure what to plug in where to get this answer.

(c) the energy transferred by heat
Not even sure where to start with this...

(d) the change in entropy of the argon
I know that the change in entropy is equal to dQ/T and that
dQ = mcdT. I'm just really not sure what to use for what-- and what the change in temperature would be. Would the Argon cool to 0*C?

(e) the change in entropy of the constant-temperature bath
