I've had the feeling that I'd be better off dead for the past 2 years. The feelings come back every other month or so. I always seem stressed out and cranky. Sometimes, I hate when I'm happy. It seems like people expect too much from me. I'm doing bad on tests, not wanting to do homework, I eat when I'm stressed and I just lay on the floor sometimes hoping time will stop and I can pull myself together. I could never physically kill myself but I just don't feel like living anymore. To me, killing myself would make people care for me. I'd be talked about, missed and loved. I believe my family loves me but they are always contradicting my attitude (I hate talking in social events). It really angers me that they do that and I don't want to change how I am so getting back at them and making them leave me alone, in my opinion, would be to commit suicide. I couldn't tell my parents how I feel, they wouldn't understand.

What is wrong with me?

the pakistan pres. clearly said a few months ago at the rumor of a U.S. military presence in the area, "we [pakistan] will take care of it."

yet more and more taliban fighters are streaming to the border. wth? we are bogged down in iraq and the media is not trying to sell the whole afghanistan news story now therefore not many people are aware of this.

My boyfriend has been smoking marijuana ever before he had the car accidents that cause his severe back pain. He claims that he also smokes due to his "bipolar" symptoms (short temper, depression, etc). I have analyzed his behavior and when he is off marijuana he seems to be more outgoing, confident, funny, and straight-headed. However he doesn't agree and cannot seem to let go of the marijuana. I on the other hand have made lifestyle changes. I have chosen to lead a healthier lifestyle and quit smoking. But when with him I cannot seem to fight the urge and comeback to the same old routine (smoke, eat, sex, sleep, etc). I ask him to respect the fact that I don't want to smoke, and he does temporarly but for the most part he doesn't. I also have a lot of communication issues with him and I truly believe that is due to the same reason - marijuana. Can this work??? And if so, how???

I'm the 26 year old, a girl. I used to baby-sit the 14 year old. I met her the day she came home from the hospital. Now that she's older, we're friends. Our families are close. She's like a little sister to me, but we're also good friends.

We're talking about taking a road trip out east for about a week. She really wants to do this and so do I. We're going to talk to her parents more about it later this week. At first her parents didn't seem to like the idea that much, but now her mom was saying she probably can, she just has to pay for it all herself, which she knows.

So I'm just curious how many people would let this happen? You've got to remember, you've known the 26 year old for most of her life. I spent a lot of time baby-sitting her. Even when I wasn't baby-sitting, I spent a lot of time over there. Her mom is like a second mom to me.

I have always prepared mine and wifees taxes as a joint return and it was always easy cause we took standard deduction and did not itemize.....But last year I changed jobs and emptied out my 401k that I had with that employer. Now I know I have to report this somehow...just seems very confusing and I don't want the IRS breathing down my neck if I screw it up. Any thoughts???

Why did god make us and then after disobeying him, continued to let us exist. It doesnt make sense to me. At church they always say thank god for letting you live and breath but shouldnt we tell god no thanks since we are born in to such a sinful evil world?

I have a smell coming from under a kitchen cabinet that smells like sour milk (no spilt milk or moisture - all dry goods) but I cannot find anything to cause the smell. No old containers forgotten about or anything. House is kept clean

Hello, I had unprotected sex like 6 weeks ago. I had a 6 day ranging from heavy to light period a week after.Then, after my perioud i started to get stomach cramps (pains on both sides and in the middle). I am currently on my period again (2nd time) and its lasted 3 days so far and it seems regular but i still have stomach cramps that dont seem quite like period cramps. MY breasts are kinda tender. Can i be pregnant?

Hi, my boyf got so upset over something really little the other day including my mate who is a boy, and a webpage, where I merely asked how he (my mate) was doing. This was in a non-flirtacious way. Upon seeing the message, he shoved me on to the floor and threw whatever he could at me. I thought he was being rediculas, so I started laughing. I couldnt help it.

Next thing he grabs my bags and shoves them out of his appartment door and grabs my hair and does the same to me. I was like what do I do.

It was only a stupid comment that was meant to be chatty. It wasnt intended to be flirty etc. So I grabbed my bags and drove to the supermarket, where he follwed me and we talked, and I stupidly ended up staying with him.

Is this abuse? Im really stressed due to university work at the moment, and I dont think I can cope with everything. I think it started to affect me becuase I think about it 24/7 and I think about the lack of self respect I have for myself...

Please help
