I see this woman quite a bit and she lives in and around my community. We shop at the same grocery store, and she must live around me somewhere because I notice her a lot. Anyways, I am attracted to her, and she seems realy sweet. However I do not know her in any other context but just seeing her around. I have never talked to her or anything. What is a decent way to approach somebody like this the first time and let her know my intentions without freaking her out?

I manage a tax office for a friend during tax season......

Yesterday, a young man came in the office asking questions about how to file his taxes, as it was his first year filing. I gave him all the necessary info, and he left........

This morning when I came in, he was sitting outside my office waiting for me. He said he had gotten the paperwork he needed, and asked me if I could help him file. He said, "I don't want to tell you this, because I'm bot proud of it, but the reason I need my taxes done so quick is that I have nowhere to go. It's cold outside, and I have a place to stay tonight, but I'm supposed to be out of there tomorrow. I need the money to see if maybe I could rent a room or something until I can get on my feet." I could tell he was sincere, and oh my god, I felt awful for him. I did his taxes, and e-filed them immediately, and my boss told me not to charge him for prep or filing fees.

Please cross your fingers that his refund comes in today.....

... his America-diminishing, world-alienating policies, at least 3-times a day? ... I am utterly sick and tired of seeing the good image of my country drag through the mud via war-mongering efforts over oil. Would we have committed so much money and resources, not to mention lives, to maintaining a presence in a total mess that's Iraq, if it were some poor inconsequential African nation? As it is, our asinine strategy to destabilize a hellhole (over defective intelligence, at best) and tarnish our international image in the process wasn’t good enough; we now have to scramble to send even more troops to that fanatic lion’s den, while we figure out how to make a graceful and face-saving exit - AND ALL TO ACCOMPOLISH EXACTLY WHAT, I ASK YOU?!!!!

i live in los angeles ca. my car got a scratch from bumper to bumper on the passenger side, because of a wire,( part of the properties fence) wich was sticking out. i tried resolving it with the mamagement co. but they do not want to be responsible. someone told me to take it with their insurance people, but they are not handing over that info. to repair my car is about $400. i got pictuers of my car and fence, also i took pics at night thats when it happen, when i was coming in to the parking lot to show that there is no lighting. wire fence is old and rusted and i did not see as i was coming in, you can easily confuse it with a flower vine thats twisted with the fence. i really want to take care of this, not only because of the damages to my car but now is a principle matter. this management co. thinks that becuse we are low income people they can get away with everything, and just ignore and neglect problems
