Partying is not so much a need, as it is a way of life.
You should WANT to party. But if you NEED to, you might look into going to meetings...

necessity to party? Not necessarily. Necessity to belong to a group and do something to full fill that need? yeah. but you can do that without the party.

Wow. I can't imagine not being able to just cut loose and have fun! I absolutely think that it's a necessity to party. How you choose to do it is up to you, as everyone has their own preferences, but yes, people should have fun every once in a while. I think it's because humans are social, and we party in order to socialize. We have a need to socialize.

Define "party." People need to socialize and interact, but it can be accomplished in a variety of ways through church, school, clubs, work groups restaurant and bar visits. One does not need to drink alcohol, one just needs to say a kind word, be helpful and courteous in order to be noticed and accepted, perhaps even admired.

I would have to say that Acceptance is the need not necessarily partying. Partying is for acceptance and human interaction.

It depends on your definition of partying. Apparently to many it means stiing around and getting s*t-faced. Sorry, but losing control of my facutlies is not my definition of fun.

Other than that, YES, it's necessary to find a release once in a while.
