I see this woman quite a bit and she lives in and around my community. We shop at the same grocery store, and she must live around me somewhere because I notice her a lot. Anyways, I am attracted to her, and she seems realy sweet. However I do not know her in any other context but just seeing her around. I have never talked to her or anything. What is a decent way to approach somebody like this the first time and let her know my intentions without freaking her out?

The grocery store is a nice safe place. Walk up to her and say, "Excuse me. My name is ____, and I couldn't help noticing that I see you around here. Would you like to go for a coffee or some lunch some time?" Then it's in her court.
She's probably been wondering about you too, but is too scared to approach you. Or perhaps she doesn't even know you exist. If you go to the same places, you probably have a little bit in common with each other. Maybe not, but you won't know unless you approach her.

Well heres an answer from a guys point of view I had the same problem a while back it seems like you can only talk to people and ask them out if you know them well but if you don't know them its always hard so try starting a conversation with her and get to know her then after a while things will clear up and you can also try getting on to something like myspace and see if she's on it too from their you won't be so worried cause you can message her from there

Don't approach her on the street. That's when most girls have their 'freak-stalker antennae' on the alert. Best bet would be to approach her somewhere like a coffee-shop. Failing that, talk to her at the grocery store.
"Hey, I keep seeing you around. My name is . . ."
(Preface this with 'mind if I sit down' if applicable)

Well because you have only seen her, you're attraction to her is simply physical in which maybe if she sleeps with you...it will be over. If that's all you want...than save her the trouble and leave her alone. Before you start to have feelings for anyone you should consider their feelings too, this could lead to a relatioship, and if it does are you going to be what she needs?Are you willing to be there for her no matter what?If you want to get to know her, the next time you see her say hello. Then maybe say something like:
"I've seen you around a couple of times, and I you're beautiful....if you give me the job of getting to know you.....I promise you won't regret it."
See what she says to that...then ask her out for a nice cup of coffee...........if she's going to regret it LEAVE HER ALONE. Good luck babe!

Next time you see her, make your way close to her, then say "you know i alwayz see you around and ive never introduced myself" give your name ask hers and ask her a few questions about herself like "do you live around here?" or "what do you like to do with your free time besides shopping?" lol but seriously talk to her briefly and then tell her that you wouldnt mind keeping in contact with her, then see what she says or does. But make sure you check that finger for a ring! Good luck!

just start out by putting her grocery cart away or something and say hi sometimes or hold the door for her then slowly tell her that you dont know her that well and you would like to

just approach her and make small talk and offer to help her with her groceries then ask her if she might want to go out sometime. good luck :)

one day when your are at the store start a conversation something simple like you come here all the time or something like that and see were it leads

Simple - tell her just about what you just told us . . . say hi and tell her you've seen her around and wonder if she's single - if she says yes ask her if she'd like to get a coffee/drink sometime.

catch her when she is in the produce section of the grocery store.
when she's picking a cucumber, lean up next to her and whisper "mine's about that size".
note: don't do this if she's picking the small cucumbers.
