... his America-diminishing, world-alienating policies, at least 3-times a day? ... I am utterly sick and tired of seeing the good image of my country drag through the mud via war-mongering efforts over oil. Would we have committed so much money and resources, not to mention lives, to maintaining a presence in a total mess that's Iraq, if it were some poor inconsequential African nation? As it is, our asinine strategy to destabilize a hellhole (over defective intelligence, at best) and tarnish our international image in the process wasn’t good enough; we now have to scramble to send even more troops to that fanatic lion’s den, while we figure out how to make a graceful and face-saving exit - AND ALL TO ACCOMPOLISH EXACTLY WHAT, I ASK YOU?!!!!

YOU WANT “MY” SOLUTION?! :-) … That’s a laugh and a half, right there! Who do you think is gonna give a rat’s azz about MY SOLUTION, or even YOURS for that matter (albeit we did have a miracle solution out of this tangled Iraqi MESS)?!!! Besides, didn’t we elect a president (and by default his honorable team), and pay ‘em good money, to do exactly that – come up with viable solutions for our country? And do you honestly think that further destabilizing a third-world nation like Iraq and sending it back to the stone ages is gonna diminish the risk of terrorism in the long run?!!! And do you sincerely believe that our government was not aware of Monster Saddam’s killing sprees against his own people, when we were happily supplying him with arms in his war efforts against Iran? … Well, if you do, then I’ve got a wonderful piece of Florida swampland ……….

BTW and F.Y.I.: Unlike many, I have nothing against GWB as a man, nor do I think of him as a conniving evildoer – in fact, and as a fellow Texan, I think he is quite a likable character. I just do NOT agree with his Iraqi policies, which I think is committing us to a tortuous and chaotic path in the long haul. Still, let us be civilized enough to agree to disagree.

Our "great and mighty" leaders are preparing the way for the 2nd coming of Jesus.

Your Vice President can spend any amount of funds on this great work because it's going to happen very soon. Pat Robertson told him so. No need to worry about funds you never will have to account for.

Your Secretary of State can look you in the eye and sing the praises of our fallen sisters and brothers without a tear in her eye because lucky them, they're going right to Jesus, who will be here soon for the rest, who have done the "hard work".

We have bases built in the birth place of civilization so Americans can have front row seats, and plenty of room for FOX news to broadcast God's announcement that the born again Christians were really his chosen people all along.

The windfalls of riches that have come for some during this time is but a blessing and a sign of assurance that their course is righteous.

It has been revealed to The great American President that he can not win the hearts and minds of the Muslim world. He must win their souls, and set them before his God.

I agree with infobrokernate.

Offer an idea to solve a problem rather than just attack the President. It's your right to do so but it solves nothing. I don't
say your morons. Get after your liberal friends and put your minds to work to come up with a solution to the problem.
The answers of:

1. Impeach the President is not a good solution, it might give you temporary satisfaction but the real problem of terrorists will still be there.
2.Get out of Iraq is not a good solution, it might be for us but does it solve the problem in Iraq. There is more than just us involved in this. The Iraqi people are too. Do you really know what they want? Don't believe the media. They slant the truth or only tell you half truths.

I don't say you have to bow down to the President, and although bashing him allows you to vent steam, in the end the real problems are still with us and need to be addressed. So! What are your ideas to solve them?

You know I.... like many I would guess...Have wondered why.

With the latest developments in that area of the world I am starting to think that occupying Iraq is the first step in developing a strategic foothold in The Middle East for further war mongering policies.

Seems reasonable.

If we go to war with Iran and Hezbollah we have a perfect strategic position to water, land and sea in our occupation of Iraq.

Interesting!
Time will tell.

I hope I'm wrong!!
God help us!

I think this is more of a statement than a real question (rhetorical), but I don't see anything that I particularly disagree with.

What we need more of though is thoughtful positive ideas and solutions and people actually acting on those ideas - I include myself in that as well. You know, real discourse beyond a sound-bite.

If we keep up with the silly name calling (even sarcastic on ourselves), we're just adding to the muddy problem.

Read Bush on the Couch. It tells you why, but doesn't give a good solution as to how to stop it.

If you're tired of seeing your Country dragged through the mud, stop denigrating the efforts being put forth by the people who run this country to keep your sorry butt safe and able to pursue the freedoms you cherish. You seem to have been brainwashed by the loopy leftys who want us to take our clues from a country like France, which has already been lost to the radical muslims because they'd rather eat cheese than defend themselves. This war has never been about oil. it's about freedom. That's the thing that allows you to post this kind of tripe on a site like this. We don't establish a freedom foothold in that incredible cesspool they call the Middle East, we're never going to be able to live in peace. Like it or not, this war's all about giving you the freedom to whine about it.

No, but how many UN resolutions does it take to prove the worthlessness of that organization?

And if it was about the oil, why isn't gas $1.15 a gallon?

For the same reason that if we don't follow the Democrats and call the President a Moron, we're evil neocons.

Goes both ways, bucky!
