I'm having depression and I could live with it but I feel too neurotic to function at times. I just want my fears to go away so I can move forward. Will anti-depressants help?

These are Chemistry Pressure Unit Conversians that I need help on.

and...

Doesn't affirmative action go against MLK's dream that all men be judged on the content of their character rather than the color of the skin. ? Why should someone receive preferential treatment because of their color?
And if the only argument you have is because of years of oppression of black people, save it. There are many black people who were never slaves nor were their ancestors. Also, there are many white people who never owned slaves and whose families never owned slaves.

My ancestors came to the US as slavery was being abolished. My grandmother cleaned houses for a living and worked side by side with white and black ladies.

Shouldn't we end affirmative action and treat people as individuals? Or do you think we should continue promoting racism through affirmative action?

shes got this problem that every month she thinks she pregnant shes going to be thirty this year and is desperate to have children every month its the same thing she thinks shes pregnant or she is pregnant she takes at least 6 pregnancy tests during the time she thinks she may have concieved half the time its positive the other half its negative. she doesnt have a normal cycle so im gathering thats why the results are always the same. when she goes to the dr to get blood tests done she neglects to include in our conversations and when she menstruates she claims that shes had a miscarriage. she was also diagnosed with hpv can that be another reason why her tests always come out the same. or is it true that she may have miscarried because of this disease

Well in middle school i guess i was pretty cool. i know this sound really lame but i was best friends with like the most popular boy in middle school. alot of people didn't like me, i really don't know why though. then when i got to highschool me and that boy stoped hanging around eachother so much. i still have friends, but i feel like they are just class friends. i feel like i come off really clingy, and that people think im annoying.
i try to be myself, and i really am myself, but i don't think people like me for me.
yeah i hang around that "popular" group, yeah lame, but i think they don't want me around, when i do hang around them.
i know im not ugly, like at all.
but i know im not gorgeous...
what can i do?
do i have to change myself, to make friends?

When we were just dating me and my boyfriend had what I thought was a very laid back relationship. Almost too laid back. To me, he was never interested about my comings or goings. I took that as him being very secure with himself and our relationship. Sometimes his non-chalantness about everything concerning our relationship bothered me. He just seemed like he didn't care one way or the other. Come to find out he didn't have all his eggs in one basket (with me) he was seeing going back and forth between me and someone that went way back into his past. I put my foot down and gave him an ultimatum. Now we are married. Now he seems to care only in a slick, sneaky kind of way. For example I know he rides past my sister's house when I am over there, tries to make sure I'm going to work by asking me to do things for him while I am there ect. What's the real deal? When I think we are getting super close now that we are married he seems to always get quiet and non-communitive.

Too many gay and bi men are married and fooling around. So how do mature single bi men who have only recently acknowledged their gay side, have little experience with gays, and no connections meet legitimate dates? Can they do this without having to practically announce their new-found sexual interest? Can they end up actually loving a man if they are more straight than gay? How do they deal with old friends and family who think this is some craziness or sin? How do they deal with the over-heated gay or bi guys who want to START with sex before they even know (if they care) their partner's first and last name? Gay's sure are a funny bunch and hard to figure out. Are they really "gay" (that is "happy")?

I took my daughter to her first piano lesson the other day, and the music teacher explained to me how to make sure she is playing the notes right when she practiced. He taught me about the whole note and the half note. I am pretty sure that he said a half note is played for a count of 2 two times (ding-1-2-ding-1-2) and the whole note was played by pushing the ket once and holding it for a count of 4 (ding-1-2-3-4). Can anyone please tell me if I am correct or what I need to change so that I can help her practice and be ready to move on in the next lesson. Thank you.

I'm getting married in May and I would like my dad to be happy for me and all but I don't knw how he feels about it or why he want talk about it. In a way I could care less what he thinks b/c it's always negative thinking but I just wish he would be happy for us and know that I will be around and that I'm nt going to leave like my sister did. How could Leo not win THE Golden Globe for best performance???

He was the best of them all in my book. He did an outstanding job in both " The Departed" and "Blood Diamond".

This was his year to get his just rewards.

He is an actor who has substance in the film industry, someone who is not scared to bring up the issues in the world!!

I read the book PREY By Michael Chriton and it spoke about small naomachines that took on a form of their own. being able to think on their own.

Well...thats one time ive heard nanomachines mentioned. however....

mainly...i heard of nanomachines in a video game. metal gear solid. where the main characters, working for secret government services. anyways....calls would be taking in frequencies using these nanomachines. is this possible? if so, how?

in the game the characters had these nanomachines in their ears, i pressume. small enough no one could notice yet able enough to be able to receive and make frequency calls.
