I think your "friend" is messed up in the head. She should be seeing a psychiatrist, not a ob-gyn

HPV wouldn't do that but..........
Answer: Sometimes wishful thinking can make the normal changes your body goes through each month seem new and unusual, especially if you're actively trying to get pregnant. It's natural to get your hopes up and think your body is doing something different. But home pregnancy tests are usually very good, and if multiple tests come up negative, believe them.

There is an unusual condition called pseudocyesis; women who have it experience real symptoms of pregnancy but aren't actually pregnant. The symptoms can be very dramatic — abdominal enlargement, breast changes, fetal movement, and even labor pains. No one knows why this happens. Pseudocyesis seems to be more common in women who are married, who have been pregnant before, or who are in their second marriage. Women diagnosed with the condition seem to improve with counseling and support from family and friends.

Chances are you don't have pseudocyesis; you're probably just going through normal premenstrual changes. Monthly symptoms can vary significantly from person to person, both with pregnancy and with regular periods. Unfortunately, some women experience debilitating cramping, bloating, pelvic pain, or nausea and vomiting with their periods, to the extent that they have to miss work or school several days each month — but they're not pregnant. Many researchers believe that it's the fluctuating levels of estrogen and progesterone (the two main hormones produced during the menstrual cycle) in the bloodstream that create these side effects.

I don't know about HPV but this is what i went Thur off and on cycles until i was 35. I had sighs of being pg all the time so much the Dr's took blood work alot. I had one time clots after i had symptoms of pg. then i adopted a child then 2 years later i had a baby of my own. tell her to relax and make herself stress free for awhile and not to think about getting pg and it might happen.

I seriously think that she is trying WAY TOO HARD.
She is putting a stress on her body that it doesnt need.

She needs to sit down and talk to a doctor about this.
every time she gets her period she's pregnant or not? umm..that is impossible--the reason someone miscarries is because there is something in the body not able to carry a child to term.
I can see one miscarriage..but not, say, every other month-it isnt possible. Her body would be through way too much to let her get pregnant again soo soon.

I think your friend needs help, she needs to sit and talk with professional.

well she shouldn't be getting half positive answers and half negative answers for sure!! i dont know a lot about the human papilloma virus. she really wants to have a baby obviously. does she keep up with the dates she may be ovulating? there are many great sites that explain women's fertility and what they can do to increase chances of pregnancy. www.babyhopes.com is a great site that can explain this very well. she can also talk to her doctor!! just keep being a good friend and offer her some support!!
good luck to her!!!

hpv wouldn't cause a positive pregnancy test. And I don't believe it's associated with miscarriages either. I think your friend needs some help.

i have hpv and my results came out the same everytime and there was no chance of me having a miscarriage there is a chance you could have cervical cancer though which may cause a miscarriage. she may not be able to bare a child because there maybe something else wrong with her causing her to have these miscarriages.

I am sorry your friend has you this concerned.

It is time to speak to her about the stress she is causing you with this pregnancy business. Be straight forward and if she is a good friend she will understand and may even get some help for herself.
