Indeed! But, try this one: I've sometimes been talking to someone and I disappear. It takes a good amount of time before I realize I've gone AWOL, and it's an even longer, more estranged amount of time, before I realize I left the area that we were just conversing in. It's so frustrating to be engaged in a normal, thought-provoking conversation and then wham, you look around and realize that you've been sent to a place where Adolph is treated like the Messia, or Napoleaon won the War, or Warez won the war. yeah, I hate it. But sometimes the party you are chatting with might think that you disappeared too. Or the party may have went to 'let calgon take them away' and fell asleep in that cozy hot bath since it felt so good. Hmmm, maybe the party will make it up to you, you reckon?

lots of disconnects and sometimes they just go silent but i can see them log in and out. The next day I log on. There is a bunch of offline messges that didnt make it through and they are offended also. You have to understand yahoo and msn have crappy messenger services. nothing to get upset about. its better than not having it at all. its the norm.

Yes, I do just hate it when I'm chatting with someone and they disappear, but I e-mail them if I want to. So it's ok.

I sure do. Especially when you never hear from then again and send another message and they don't reply. Awkward. Did they not get the message or do they just never want to chat again.

Uh, not so much. I hate it more when you're having a heated discussion/argument and they disappear. Any other time I could care less.
