My mom told me that if I flat iron my hair straight too much, it'll get too burnt and fall out. She says I'll go bald eventually from doing it too much. At most I do it about twice a week, and I don't even pull that hard. But sometimes small bits of hair comes out on the counter and we've noticed my hair has gotten thinner since I last had a haircut. Could straightening it be the cause?

I went to a concert on January 14 and it was 3 and a half hours long. It was a small venue and it was my very first concert. I still hear ringing in my ear.. i hear fine but some of the answers here have been pretty scary to me like losing my hearing and having this ringing permanently. Will it be alright since it was my first concert and I've never been exposed to such loud music in my life? WHEN WILL IT GO AWAY? help!!

Will you please go and vote for my dog. she is a blind yorkipoo and i put her in all kinds of contest and pet parades around town and she has never won. i want her to atleast win something in her life. I have struggled with depression for a while now, so i know how a smile can make a difference, so in the spirit of being happy, i will start off the jokes/stories...

I just want to know why do people have to call a black person "white" when they dont fit the stereotype. For example, if you have a black male that can speak proper English, does not sell drugs, does not have a gun, does not wear baggy clothes, then his trying to be white. If there was a white guy that was fast and liked fried chicken no one would say anything about him trying to be black. I just want to know why a black person is "white" when he does not portray any stereotypes of a black person?

Is there a biblical reason for it because God is supposed to have created people in His image and it was only when they sinned that they themselves got the idea of wearing clothes. Clothing should therefore be seen as a sign that people have sins to hide and are headed in the wrong direction spiritually.

I want to build an 8x10 wood frame shed with a door and one small window with a concrete foundation. I am somewhat handy and I plan on mixing/pouring the concrete myself and building the shed from blueprints. NOT FROM A LOW QUALITY OVERPRICED KIT like they commonly display in the parking lot of my Home Depot. Has anyone tried this? I realize costs will vary greatly but I'm just looking for a ballpark. thx.
