Actually some women still have a period or two before they find out they are pregnant. It's not a heavy flow and isn't typical but for women with atypical cycles it's pretty routine. That's why there are those women who don't know they are pregnant until they are delivering basically. There period was essentially normal throughout most of the pregnancy. But as someone else said it is probably a bit early to know if you are pregnant unless you know when you were ovulating and the pain you are having isn't typical for your cycle. I'd wait at least until a week after your period is due to start and then get a test. And this isn't a value judgment at all but really it's good to be super safe these days. Pregnancy can be the least of your worries if someone has another present you can't get rid of.

Actually, most of these people are incorrect.

You're experience cramping and light bleeding, which can very well be implantation bleeding. This is when the fertilized egg makes its way to your uterus and your body then begins producing the hormone HCG. So yes, you could be pregnant. It may be too early to test at this time, however, test soon.

If you believe that you might be pregnant, contact your OBGYN to administer a test. You can also purchase an over the counter test at a grocery or pharmacy...they are very reliable, but they are not 100%.

You can have light spotting when you are pregnant..but usually not. Get yourself tested and next time protect yourself a little better...you might even want to talk to your OBGYN about taking the birth control pill or you could just refrain from having intercourse.

you cant have a period and be pregnant, not possible. When your egg doesnt get fertilized your body flushes everything out (your period) which means that you cant be pregnant. But if you miss a period its possible because your body sends a hormone that stops your body from flushing out so that the egg can fertilize and be safe. Wait and see if you get it on the 19th.

Ok. So...You had unprotected sex. You could be pregnant. End of story. Why do you girls keep asking this kind of question. Why not just use protection? Then you dont have to question it...
