I'm confused.....after my last posting, many of the christians told me these verses can't be taken litterally.

Either these verses work or they don't....which is it?

Also, when you say these can't be taken litterally....what are you basing that claim on?

Please provide me the verses that give you permission to not take these litterally.

Matthew 17:20:
"For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you."

Mark 11:24:
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

James 5:15:
"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well;"

i am currently 12 weeks with bub #2. my son is only 19 wks old. as my body did not have time to heal properly my cervix is blocked but open at the top. the docs are talking about a possible stitch in the top. has anyone had a slightly open cervix in early pregnancy before? is this common in close pregnancies? should i be concerned if the mucous plug attached, there have been no danger signs and i have got thus far? any one had a stitch? any honest answers would be greatly appreciated

I've spent the last month applying to many Ph.D and Psy.D programs (directly after undergrad). Do such programs let you know if they are not interested in you? I'm worried that it is a matter of either you get an interview or you never hear from the school.

Why are those who work hard and pay their taxes discriminated against when it comes to medications?

I am disabled and not working and had to get a prescription filled today. I paid $4.90 for mine, yet a friend who works had to get similar medication and paid $75.00.

I understand why mine would be low - pension, low income, etc, but why was his so expensive simply because he didn't have a pension or health care card?

Is it that pharmaceutical companies are simply too greedy?

ok, so this is the most i've ever poured my heart out on yahoo answers.

my mom today told me the most deep, most incredibly hurtful things you could possibly tell me - and this isnt irregular either - but then for the first time in a while apologized & told me she's been doing this for some reason for my entire life.

then when i brought it up tonite infront of my dad, she denied all of it and then even sweared on the bible to say that she never said it.
So I immediately said f*** you, because honestly guys, that's how I feel.

this is my mom! people, you dont even know what its like to have the person that is supposed to love you the most tell you something she wouldn't even tell her worst enemy.

What would you have done?

I'm 14, a year ago my relationship with my parents was destroyed. I made some mistakes, they were too harsh, I got extremely resentful. Overall, I don't like it very well--and I'm a native.

Pros: Ale-8-1 (a special gingerale,) beautiful rolling horse country, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky River palisades, Cumberland Falls, Land Between the Lakes, Harrodsburg/Mercer Co. (an exceptional community, and the only place in Kentucky I'd voluntarily live.)

Cons: Lexington has the worst traffic for a city it's size, political leaders have a very strong good ol boy network, the job market is lackluster, and the people are frankly cold, impolite, and unwelcoming. (Also, the best women I've dated are from out of KY, honestly.)

Met someone who says she is going thru seperation.
Flirted with her over the last 7 days and yesterday she started coming on stronger, sitting around me and initiating conversation and finally touching meon my arm, then my knee, twice.

I decided that i would finally make a move so i asked if she wanted to go get ice cream (excuse) later, she said she was feeling sick again and just wanted to go home, then a few min later after chatting i asked if she wanted to join me for lunch tomorrow and she said,.......ohh im having lunch with lisa..... the we walked outside and i forgot my jacket so i said i was going to get it so she was like "awwww go get your jacket, ill see u tomorrow"?

What the hel.l.

P.S. also as we were walking volunteered to me that she hasnt been out, "or done anything in over 6 months"..in other words...se.x" ....since she separated fm her husband over 6 months ago.

I can't seem to get it. Looking through trouble shooting, it says the following:

To ensure successful usage your machine requires outgoing connections on TCP ports 80 and 6667, as well as on TCP ports 17010, 17011 and 17012. If you want to be able to host a game you will have to redirect incoming packets on the TCP ports to your machine.

What does this mean and how do I even do this?

garcia is playing a lot better and turned the season around. mc nabb played terrible and brought them in a slump. how does the situation look for next year. i would keep garcia and let him and mcnabb battle for it but i just have a feeling mcnabb will get it back no matter what even though jeff is a lot better right now.
