It's best to eat foods at room temp, it's better for your metabolism.

Basically hot food should be cooked, served hot and eaten hot, and cold food should be kept cold, served cold, and eaten cold. This helps prevent spoilage and bacteria growth. Waiting a few minutes till the food coools is fine, but don't let your food sit around for an hour or longer at room temperature or it could start to spoil.
