I must agree with some of you! I think it will have a negative effect on us in the long run! However, she keeps bringing it up! She wants to watch me with another woman, and also, she says that, she can't stop thinking about, her and another woman being, and stimulating me. I do think this is very erotic, yet concerened! Here's the sentence from a practice TOEIC exam: "As you know, he WAS previously MANAGING our Texas outfit, but he HAS just ARRIVED this morning . . . " (caps indicate blanks. can't figure out how to underline here)

Why can't we say, He HAS previously MANAGED . . ." in ths sentence? I am teaching a TOEIC class and I can't explain this grammar. I know that British English uses "has" more than we Yanks do. (I would just say, "He just arrived . . ." Please explain this in simple terms for a non-native speaker. Thanks!

Two people are in love, they shouldn't be because they are both married to other people, but we are talking real life here and these things happen. Right or wrong they have an affair but save your judgement you don't know all the facts (take too long to go into). They stop seeing each other for obvious reasons when the guys wife is diagnosed with cancer but after a few months when she was in remission they occassionally got together for coffee or a walk. They still love each other. Now his wife is dying, nothing can be done. The love between these people grew from a long and close friendship and the guy knows he can talk to her about anything and everything and get comfort, advise and understanding. but she knows that the situation is impossible which ever way you look at it. Her heart is breaking. What can she do?

Do you think that anyone including our military personel should have Global Possitioning chips installed into their bodies incase they become obducted by insurgeants or kidnappers? It would sure make locating them so much easier. and the enemy would be found easier because of this. I think they should darn well do this with anyone in any of our forces. Don't you think it would be awesome to be able to locate them right away???
