I baby sit my granddaughters. I take the four year old to pre school twice a week and pick her up a few hours later taking her 20 mo. old sister with us. It's COLD here but the 20 mo. old takes her mittens off immediately. Sometimes she rips them off before we even get out of the house. Help! Her little hands are freezing by the time we get back home.

I am making backup DVDs and they are pausing/freezing in only one of my DVD players - in my vehicle. Any ideas? I have read that it may be due to the burn speed or that I may need to use a DVD cleaner to clean my player. Is there fact in this? Is it possibly the media I am using, should I be using different media? I have tried two separate media with the same results.

I live in Kansas City, and our weather has been so mild this year. Trees are budding; grass is growing; and now my blubs (daffodils, crocuses, windflowers, allium, etc) are sprouting. They were even sprouting right before Thanksgiving. I planted according to zone and the directions from the place I bought them, but I'm concerned I'm going to have more green than flower this spring. Any ideas?

I am installing a woodstove using single wall black stove pipe and I am wondering basically how hot the stove pipe will get? ALSO the morter they use to build a fireplace..how long does it take for that to fully cure? And what temps will that withstand?

I have a ML55 AMG 2000. It says super unleaded gas but I have heard that it is not nessasary to use super unleaded. If I use regular unleaded, wll that hurt the engine in any way?

i have 76 honda CJ360 motorcycle
i am trying to clean out my exaust because it is clogggged!!!
it started to exaust out black powerly smoke...or carbon
and making puffy sound every 5 sec with a lot of powder.
however... i took out the exaust and it was kinda heavy...

My friends dad gave me a job in a time of need but after the first couple of weeks now i'm realizing that i hate it! i hate everything about it and i've been in tears after leaving work the past couple of times. it's just a hostess job at a nice restaurant and i would normally just quit but i promised my friends dad, one of the managers, that i would give a two weeks notice. i've never actually done one before and i'm not sure as to what i should say in the letter, would much prefer a letter vs. talking with anyone ( they can all be pretty mean). i wanna tell them in some way that it's just not the job for me, any advice?

I am 45 thin dont Drink too much 6 drinks per week on avg. I do eat rich food beef shrimp etc. My back started giving me pain and was rushed to the Hospital with high BP of 116 /162. They did alot of testinging Now it showing that I have a fatty liver and who know what more is wrong. I have lost some weight I have been always thin . I do have a pot belly. Whenever my spouse gets his other son, which is rare, I just can't stand to look at him (the son) and he gets on my last nerve so quickly (he does misbehave, probably for attention since my spouse and I have a son) is this a phsycological problem on my part? My parents have selected a man for me to marry. All seems good in a way - I have no reason to reject the man as he is from a decent family, has a good job etc. etc...

However, since we met only thrice, I don't feel any connection with him.

How long do you think this connection will take to develop?

I'm also very uncomfortable going through with this marriage foe some reason - i cannot explain it - i'd like the wedding to be put off but I don't want to make my parents feel bad if i oppose and I don't want to ruin the relationship I share with them.

I know they want what is best for me - but fail to understand my feelings.

Kindly let me know how i can avoid or at least delay the wedding till I'm comfortable with the thought of marrying this man.

Also let me know what I can do to feel 'connected' to the man chosen for me. (He lives in different state so we'll be meeting directly on the day of the engagement now.... he is also busy and rarely talks on the phone....)

This is one of my favorites, simple and delicious!

Baked Burgundy Beef

Ingredients

(6 servings)

2 lb Cubed chuck roast
1 c Burgundy
1 cn (10 1/2 oz.) condensed
Onion soup
1/4 c Fine dry bread crumbs
1 Bay leaf
Buttered noodles


Instructions

350 degree oven Time to prepare - 3 hours In casserole thoroughly combine ingredients.Cover and bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours,until tender and sauce has thickened.Serve over noodles.
