I am making backup DVDs and they are pausing/freezing in only one of my DVD players - in my vehicle. Any ideas? I have read that it may be due to the burn speed or that I may need to use a DVD cleaner to clean my player. Is there fact in this? Is it possibly the media I am using, should I be using different media? I have tried two separate media with the same results.

TIA for your help!

It's probably the burning speed. Some portable DVD players use less power to spin the disc. The stational DVD players spin it faster and if there's a problem somewhere (if the disc is dirty scratched, if there's a burning defect ect.) chances are, that your portable DVD player will detect them, and your stational will not. Try burning it again at a smaller speed.
