It's completely normal to only eat 4 oz at 4 months old. My ds is 6 months now, and only started eating 8 oz (3 times at daycare, nursed at home) about the beginning of December.

Don't worry about the blister it's really common especially in BF babbies b/c theye have to suck harder but your bab just has a good suck which is good and normal and nothing to be worried about it's not painful or anything and it will go away, about the amount babies won't starve themselves they'll eat when hungry and refuse when they're not,,,that is if they are healthy and able to do so and if your dr. says hes fun let him be don't make as much next time. my BF baby whois 4 mos. only takes 3-4 oz ata crack bt he just eats more often.

I dont have any experience with a blister, but the eating is normal. Some babies prefer smaller more frequant meals. You only need to worry about him getting enough to eat if he drasticly lowers the amount of dipears that you have to change

Don't worry, that is perfectly normal! At 4 mos, babies really don't drink that much. They do small portions several times throughout the day. Remember, his stomach is about the size of his fist, so he really can't take too much. My son's pediatrician told me that they know when they are full so trust them. Be confident that you are doing a good job, he is doing fine :)

Well quit it! The Dr. said he's fine so why are you still worrying? Relax and enjoy being a Mom! You have instincts, use them, so you can relax! You'll KNOW when something is really wrong!
