My partner has a temperature of about 99 and i have given her paracetamol and cold compresses but nothing seems to work

My dad had been in the hospital for 2 weeks in traction. He was given a blue tube called Racet' cream. Active ingrediant was 10% cortizone. Used for bed sores was original reason hospital had prescribed it for him. He gave me the used tube which had very little left in it and told me to use it on my face where we both were afflicted with psoriasis and eczema. He had it worse than I did. Anyway, I found that with an extremely thin layer applied to my dry, flakey red areas about the nose, forehead and chin the skin problem totally disappeared after two applications. (One each day) And with 2-3 applications a week there after it stayed away. I need to find a cream that will do that for me. 10% cortizone is script only. Is there an alternative product that will do the same thing? Can't afford to see a doctor. My face will break out with red swelled patches that itch and sometimes weep when I wash or touch the skin. Please help!!! Herbal substitutes? I've tried many things.

Also, if you consistently do the same thing that angers, upsets or concerns her, should her reaction/ response change? I mean, how are women to come across as loving and helpful instead of bitchy, controlling, hateful? I don't want to harp on things or bring up the past while responding or reacting to my boyfriend. But he consistently does the same thing over and over again. He expects that his apology is good enough. But to me they are empty words. I just feel that there should be respect in a relationship. And so when he continually repeats the same thing over and over again, I feel like I have no say. And I feel as if he doesn't care about my feelings. I have told him this to no avail. It really is like beating a dead horse. We have a decent relationship except for his addiction (porn). My request is that he not look at it in my home. I don't feel that I have to bend or compromise just to make him happy. If he lived here, I might reconsider to a certain extent. But he does not.

Hi there, My little boy puss (1 year old) has been fighting with our other cat (1 year old girl).

He now is missing a patch of fur about the size of a smartie, or bit bigger (about 1.5cm in diameter) and the skin underneath is red and raw. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and is his usual self, but Im worried that it might get infected.

How should I treat it? How long should it take to go away?

Today I saw all the books I need for my class this semester. If I buy all new books its going to cost $341.55, while if I buy used its only $256.75. A savings of $84.25.

Now at my school, I receive a book check worth 350. If I use it on all new books I'll only have about 9 dollars left over after it. I'm think of using my credit card to buy all the used books and then use the 350 book check ot pay the credit card bill off. I would save around 93 dollars out of the book check, after the bill is paid.

So What do you think?

Ok last night i put cookies in the microwave for about 40 seconds (i forgot about them) and i take them out and they start smoking so i grabbed them with a paper towel and threw them out of my window.
