and to be able to type to my opponent, if necessary? Please!! Someone help me. I can only get to the small window and these letters are hard for a 79 year old to see. Thank you.

This isn't my original answer, but I copied it down whilst looking for other Literati questions to help answer if I could:
Go into a lounge. Click "Options", "Small windows" and then find a table you like and hold down the ctrl button on your keyboard. Once at a table, you can enlarge, chat with your opponent if you like, and get rid of the pop-up ads at the top.
I haven't tried it, but the person who gave this answer uses this method all the time successfully apparently.
