Since you've stated they are either submissive of dominant, vengeful or nice, afraid or warmongers, non thinkers and lazy, or Greedy and control freaks, seems to me you have covered every possibility known to mankind. I guess all humans would fit in there somewhere whether they are Christians or Atheists. Christians are no different from any other people other than they believe in a God and you do not.

Hi,
From your Avatar you appear to be about twelve but I am assuming that you are in your early twenties.Let me address your theory if I may.
1. I am far from submissive, I have respect for other's and I still consider and respect my parent's as they have earned that right from me. I used to obey them, now I respect them. I obey the laws of the land and the structure of my work environment.
2. I am not dominant, however I aam the manager of a hospice and I expect excellent work and respect. In turn I respect and work along side my employees.
3.Chaos is everywhere. You have but to turn on the television or read the paper. In some of the neighborhoods in my town there is chaos. Nothing is ever under complete control of anything.
4.As a hospice nurse I have seen more death than your young mind can fathom. Death does not frighten me. It is the natural order of things, we begin to die the minute we take our first breath. It takes a very short time for some, some lose their lives accidently, and some it takes many long years, but we are all dying. I don't fear death because of my belief in christ and the promise of the next life in heaven.
5.I personally cannot stand Bible thumper's and have never ever threatened anyone with hell. fire and damnation. Jesus was the model of love.
6.I have a master's degree in nursing and am working on my doctorate. I think constantly. I read( Have you read War and Peace or The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire. or Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged?).
7. I wish someone would do everything for me for just one day. In they past 25 years, I have welded, gone to nursing school, worked, earned a living, bought a house and raised a wonderful, productive son by myself.
8.Read the Bible, the ending is no fairytale.
9. I have saved a great deal of money, I don't love it as it can all be gone tomorrow. I did however, work for it andsave it and if I buy anything it is after my bills and taxes have been paid. I especially enjoy all the money that I have busted my *** to make through the years supporting welfare so that young folks can have illigitimate children year after year on my dime.
10.Covered this ridiculous statement already.
Now here's my addition:
You have made extremely broad statement's and generalizations about which you obviously really know nothing. What you have posted here is simply what you titled it "I have decided" and in the grand scheme of things what you "decide" is really only an opinion and therefor it is not the only truth now is it?

about the money thing, i am a christian, i am mixed race, i am half sri-lankan, i am 26 yrs old. i've never been there or anywhere else. the first time i saw sri-lanka was on the news about the tsunami. anyway, i was watching God tv, joyce myers ministries. all these people who hate working for a living and love their money and private property's actually managed to get their money together and build a large number of homes for the people of sri-lanka. i'm a full time mother, i don't work at the moment but i'm applying for college now so that i will start in september. when i'm in church, i make sure that myself and my 2 children, who are 9 and 5, always put something in the offering, even if it's our last. God is blessing my family, i know we will be looked after.
i have close friends with other religious beliefs, none of us judge one another, they all have their own property's and lot's of money, they are beautiful people. i'm not jealous of what possessions they have because i know god wants us to be rich and have nice things, and in 7 yrs time i will have my own house, i will be running my own buissness either from my house or i will have a little shop and i will be able to go off travelling, but i also know he wants us to give. we are to love God, not the money.
if you got sky, the god channels are free, watch and you will see how the religious people are. you can also get it on cable.
what are your beliefs?

As someone who believes in gods my responses are
1-I don't obey well. I need to have a very good reason to do what someone else wants
2-I'm not a dominant person. People can live their lives however they want if they aren't hurting anyone
3-I'm a Discordian (among other things), I honor chaos
4-Given that I have no belief about life after death fear of death has noting to do with my faith
5-I don't threaten. If the gods want to punish someone (or not)that's between them and the guilty
6-I tend to think about my beliefs every day. I constantly analyze them and guess what, I still believe
7-Once again, no. I don't view religion or the gods as genies or slaves. If I want something done I do what I can to make it happen.
8-Not really, I accept reality for what it is including pain, suffering, and death
9-I can see uses for money, but as long as I can meet all of my needs and have a little for emergencies I'll me happy
10-I tend to work 64 hours a week of course I hate working, but my religion insists that I continue to work and not expect others to support me
11-looks like none of the above apply to me. Care to try again?

I dont want to add anything, all this is just your personal opinion and yes a lot of so called "christians" put out a bad image. But there are really good people out there that aren't concerned with all these worldly things, and they are the true christians. But they are far and few in between. Just pick up a bible and read it. It's all in there

God appeals to various people for different reasons. You cannot just group a particular religion into a specific personality group like that. If you really want to know, make up a survey and see if your ideas are true. Make sure the questions have low-face validity (meaning that it is not easy to tell by the question what the favorable answer would be).

The problem with your statement is the empirical way you present it. "I've decided that people who believe in gods have a certain personality"
You mean you have decided for yourself, right?
You can not decide for the rest of us unless you think that maybe you are ruler of the world.
As there are many religions, I find your personality profile bias and very limited in scope. People believe in Gods for a vast number of reasons.

Hi Katyusha. I think, understand, and fear is not a god. The dog eat dog mentality spawns from a place that so many take for granted as gospel. Where are you today? Don’t you think there must have been a reason why I decided to see what was posting before I went about my business of this day?

I'm almost convinced that atheists have a certain personality...
1. they are unable to live and let live
2. they are unable to see people as individuals but must categorize them
3. they are enraged by people that feel that they have a spiritual life
4. they need to feel superior to others, and God loving people are easy targets
5. they don't understand the ability to hold several ideas in one's mind at the same time.
But after all is said and done, we're all of us, God-minded or not, trying to make our way through a difficult and wonderful world. If atheists are right, then they have nothing to lose by being magnanimous to those who believe. If believers are right, than they have a lot of work to do on themselves and shouldn't have any time to pick on non-believers.

I would add "They think if the majority of people believe something, then it must be true." Forgetting, of course, that the majority of people once believed that the Earth is flat, that witches fly around at night on brooms and the moon was consumed and regurgitated every 28 days.
P.S. I believe in a cosmic consciousness which could be called "God", but not in the desert god Yahweh/Jehovah, or other deities imagined by superstitious, primitive man.
