Hi last night during my night out in Downtown Toronto with my friends I had few drinks. I never drank anything but beer before but this time my best friend insisted I try the Rum with Coke in a resturant then my friend I left the resturant she insisted we go to a bar to have another drink and without resistant I went there and had a Coors Light Beer. While I was drinking the beer it was getting harder and harder to think. I needed to get some balance back so my friend told me that a cigerate can help and it somehow it did. So I want to know is whether I was sort of drunk and next time I am thinking of drinking again a Rum with Coke, Coors Light beer and a Smirnoff Ice will i be wasted if I drink all those.

Here is the situation:

I was speaking with my father about something irrelevant. While I was in the conversation, my mother butted in (rudely) wanting to know what I was talking about. I asked her nicely that I will tell her what I was speaking about after I had finished the conversation. She then interrupted again. I asked her to wait while I finish the conversation. She then interrupted a third time, when I told her to stop being a rude cow (Out of order I know but I asked three times to stop interrupting). She then blew up in my face. The question is this.

I was told by my parents when I was young to not intterupt someone when they are talking to someone else (common courtesy). She then does it anyway for a conversation which did NOT involve my mother in any way shape or form.

Do you think I am in the right compared with my mother? this is not the first time she has done this. She butts in when I am on the phone to a friend, asking who it is when it is not her business.

I'm a graduate student at Medical School. A very attractive librarian, who is also my age has signs of trouble in her life. I asked her on a date thinking that it would cheer both of us up.

I thought a new relationship would bring hope and joy into our lives.

She rudely shut me out. Fortunately I don't need to go to her office ever again, for now I guess.

I can't make of the situation. She is my first crush since undergraduate a few years ago.

Yeah, how? I am trying to get this one girl to like me. I live in Toronto and I know for the most part people are loving this winter season with no snow.

I feel lost though, Christmas went by with no white stuff, my g/f and I could not go skating for New Years because it was 7 degrees.

I know for the most part people are loving this weather, but I hate it. I don't even feel like winter has come yet but we are in it.
