I live in Toronto and I know for the most part people are loving this winter season with no snow.

I feel lost though, Christmas went by with no white stuff, my g/f and I could not go skating for New Years because it was 7 degrees.

I know for the most part people are loving this weather, but I hate it. I don't even feel like winter has come yet but we are in it.

Is anyone else scarred that the earth is trying to tell us something?

yes. i live in Texas. when my grandmother was growing up here, in the more southern part of tx, she said it would snow at least once every year. there are photos of this. my mom has photos of her in Huntsville, TX where she went to college in the 60s, and they are sledding on snow that is very deep. she said it would also snow. when i was growing up in the 80s here, it would snow every couple years enough to play in. now, it has snowed only once here in my adult life, and that was only enough to "stick " for a few hours. it rarely ever even freezes here in east texas, and has stayed in the 60s during the day since before Christmas. Everyone is wearing tees and flip flops. the end the of the world is coming...

We're still trying to survive an ice-storm that left 2 inches of ice on everything here in midwest US. Several thousands still do not have power after more than a week and it's been quite cold with no heat 24/7. We were one of the lucky ones that only had to go without for 24 hours. But you're right....there does seem to be some sort of shift in the world's weather and makes a person wonder what's on the horizon if we don't try to take care of our planet.

Why does everyone think that? Here in ohio it snowed for 2 days and it's already Jan. It was just like that last year. Last year I don't even think we got a foot of snow the whole winter which is kinda odd of that happening 2 winters in a row
