i am very allergic to metal. i was told i could buy something called liquid plastic and coat certain metal items and they would be safe for me to wear i.e. jewelry. But when i put liquid plastic in a search engine i get nothing even close to what i am looking for. Has anyone heard of this, know where to get it, know of an alternative name or an alternative product that could do the same thing? Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong categopry - i couldn't find one that seemed right, and this was the closest to crafts i could think of.

I live in New York, and I can't read japanese. I like takoyaki and I'd like to make them. Problem is finding the ingredients can be difficult. I'm assuming there must be a simple way to obtain ingredients, perhaps by substituting something for a similar, easily obtainable ingredient.

Is it because born agains have hijacked the word christian? Is it because they are trying to become the largest christian group? Is it that they seem more like a cult then a religious group? In reality they are just a copy of a copy of a copy of the original christian group, and everyone knows that a copy isn't as clear as the original.

A. Rude
B. Distasteful
C. Cool and laid back
D. Something you don't mind
You can choose any, none or all of the above
I must point out though, that it is NOT against any State Dept. Health Code, or OSHA regulations (for patrons that is),to go bf anywhere, including eateries. The signs that claim health code are simply wrong. Thousands of us barefooters have written all State health depts. and OSHA, and have confirmed this. Also, the liability argument doesn't stand because of a little thing called contributory negligence. The torts civil standard is that you assume the risk. It's also not so that you can contract athlete's foot or other disease if you're a barefooter, because if you habitually go barefoot, even if you come in contact with fungus or bacteria, you will not let it infect you because you don't provide it with a damp, moist environment. Therefore, a barefooter doesn't pose a health risk. look at http://www.barefooters.org for more info.

I had this quote burned into my memory chips when I attended the USAFA... I think it is a very good one....

"The discipline which makes the soldiers of a free country reliable in battle is not to be gained by harsh or tyrannical treatment. On the contrary, such treatment is far more likely to destroy than to make an army. It is possible to impart instruction and give commands in such a manner and such a tone of voice as to inspire in the soldier no feeling but an intense desire to obey, while the opposite manner and tone of voice cannot fail to excite strong resentment and a desire to disobey. The one mode or other of dealing with subordinates springs from a corresponding spirit in the breast of the commander. He who feels the respect which is due to others cannot fail to inspire in them respect for himself. While he who feels, and hence manifests, disrespect towards others, especially his subordinates, cannot fail to inspire hatred against himself."

Major General John M. Schofield
