Many times I like to go running first thing in the morning then eat breakfast and go to the gym either after that or middle of the day. I'm trying to really tone up. Is that an effective way or should I run one day and workout the next, alternating each day and take one day off?

I worked in retail for quite a while, and there are certain women who get their"fix"every day from shopping. They push and shove, and drag miserable children around with them, and often eat and drink and leave a giant mess of clothes behind for the poor sales assistants. I have about 60 in my new house all 50 watts. The family kitchen area has 17 alone. Thats 17x50 = 850 watts. I think they are costing me a heap in electricity. Some have dimmers.
